GT Taifun v2 Vs Gt taifun version 1 what parts interchange

I was wondering if the new glass & tank and cover will work on the older Taifun GT base and chimney. I was wanting to pick up a new cool colored tank and SS cover that they use on the V2 Taifuns or even the bell cap style. Does anyone know what parts will interchange from the GT Version 1 to the version 2. My wife has one of the v1 models and we wanted to spruce it up and give it a new look and go to the glass tank. Any info on this would be very helpful.

The top cap/chimney are different. Some people tried out the original tank on the GT2, has to use the original top cap/chimney.

I am not understanding what you're saying here. I have a V1 GT and want to use the Gt V2 SS cover and glass tank on the V1 we have and need to know if that is possible

It should be, cause to the best of my knowledge, the only difference are the deck itself and the chimney/jfc. I ordered some nano tanks for it with the ss top caps from ft and I saw people using them on v1 and v2. I don't have them yet but they should fit my v2 and I saw them in a v1.

it looked to me like most of the caps from the version 2 would work on the version 2
