Since I can make jewelry with a small flame it's not too hot, so I was just out making some to get this order finished finally. This gallery has been so patient with me. It's fantastic.

Anyway. I did the prepwork for another bottle. It will have a very dark ruby and a little lighter ruby (maybe, still not sure on this), but still dark and a silvery grey stringer and a glow cane. And it's going to be backed with a reactive color called Blue Moon. It's the color I used for the honeycombs. But it'll be totally different since I'm using it as frit (crushed glass) as aposed to tube. This'll be a neat one, for sure.

I'm tired, guys. I'll make the next bottle tomorrow.:p

You have done great today. Go get ya a Coke and sit back and have a nice vape!

My son found an old store today that had the ice cold Cokes in the glass bottles sitting in a washtub of icy water. He bought some and brought them home. They are so good!

Wow, beautiful work and that glow in the dark glass is amazing. I never even knew such a thing existed.

A good friend of mine, Joe Imler is behind this new glow glass. There's yellow and aqua glow available to the masses, but I actually have the glow dust that you mix with the glass. The dust isn't a glass, it's more like an enamel powder. You need to use a rispirator while working with it. But the point is that I have way more than just yellow and aqua. That's all I have in glass form, but I have the powder for red, purple, pink, fuscia and green. It's pretty cool stuff but kinda a pain to use.

Oh, I love coke in a glass bottle. Here in Houston, Tx. the glass bottle cokes are the imported ones from Mexico with real sugar instead of HFCS. I also like Pepsi Throwback (real sugar-same price as regular Pepsi).

Oh, and I have another bottle in the kiln. What's the best way to go about selecting who it goes to.

How about some kind of contest. Nothing like post number so and so gets this. Maybe a mini scavenger hunt in the PIF forum.

Or I have permission from Super T manufacturing to use his idea for a contest. You make a post somewhere and say, free glass bottle in the sentence and the first one to PM you with the right place and a link to the thread wins the bottle.

Or, you can hold on to it until you see an offer you like and then put it up on the PIF thread.

I'll definitely give it up in the PiF thread.

I just woke up and put water on the stove for coffee; I use a french press.

I went to grab the bottle out of the kiln and unfortunately, while I was welding the fitting to the bottle the male fitting got to hot and welded to the female fitting on the bottle. When I was trying to remove the male the female broke. :(

That's cool though I can just trim the old fitting off and slap a new one on there. But I'm outta 14mm fittings. I'll have to use the bigger 18mm ones.

I'll redo the fitting and throw it up in the PiF thread.

That is beautiful! I love seeing your work! And someone that loves coffee as much as I do. I'm not allowed to have more than one cup a day right now though and it is killing me! I used to drink at least a pot a day all by my little self. I love the way coffee smells and tastes, no sugar, no creamer unless it's an after dinner cup.

actually that's kinda what I'm thinking. I'll post something i'm looking for and whoever comes up with it gets the bottle. Now I just gotta fix it and figure out what I want to trade.

And Jules, I'm a coffee fiend. I love coffee, drink it pretty much all day. Just a bit of cream and a teaspoon of sugar, usually. If I have a bottle of Bailey's I put that in my coffee.

I just found a lone 14mm female fitting in the shop. I'll have this fixed by days end.
