So, can any of you DYI masters guess how long theses have been steeped?

Ok..ok it's killing me...at the time of the pic the juice was only three hours old. I let them soak in a mini crock pot for three hours.

I have seen many debates on how to steep juice. I used to just let them sit for a few minutes in the hot water to loosen up everything and give it a good shake. One day last week I had forgotten about my mix for 3hrs and when I pulled them out they looked like this, and to my surprise they tasted amazing.

I am one who can never, ever wait more than three days before I brake into my juice. For the first time I am tasting my just as if it were weeks old and it taste great!!

I thought heat was a bad thing for juice.

That is what I have read also. That is why I would just let them sit for a few minutes in hot water and then just shake em up. But I have to say it tastes way better and I can't tell a degradation of nicotine either.
