My name is Andy, been reading on this site for a few months now, finally registered and posted some questions. I see that most intro themselves and this is something I neglected to do, so here is me, the very short version.. 
I smoked cigs for 20 years, was up to 2 packs a day, and frankly I liked smoking.. Well, a couple people in my office were big into vaping and I started by asking a few questions, and after a few months, decided to get me a starter kit, and see where it went.. Picked up my Vision Ego-C upgrade with clearomizer, and a couple bottles of juice, and went home to try it out.. Told myself that I was going to give it a fair shot, so I charged the battery, and that evening filled it up, and started vaping.. At first it was harsh, made me cough, not gonna kid you, the first couple hours were rough.. but I was determined, and if I knew then, what I know now, it would have been way different.. started with 24mg 50/50 straight usa mix.. well, I went to bed that night wondering if it would really work, woke up the next morning and smoked 1 cig.. vaped the rest of the day (coughing much less), the next day smoked 1 cig on my lunch, it tasted different, and not pleasant at all.. the next day, smoked half a cig on my lunch and put it out.. That was my last cig almost 9 months ago, and after the first day, I can honestly say it's been almost painless....
Now, I rebuild my own coils, and am venturing into the DIY ejuice world, and loving every minute of it!! There are so many different flavors, strengths, and types, and it just plain fun, and it has to be better for me than those nasty cancer sticks.. I can smell again! I can taste again!! I can breath again!!
So, I want to say thank you to the moderators of this forum, and to all of the people who posted on here that helped me learn so much without even knowing how much you were helping! I truly do thank you all!!
