I have a fussy Cisco LR306 atty that's giving me problems.

I bought two Cisco 306 LR atty's a few weeks ago. The first one worked great right out of the box, but seemingly died after about two weeks, although I'm trying to revive it by cleaning and letting dry. It was the best vaping/dripping experience I've had compared to other attys and cartos. I didn't clean it in the two weeks I used it. It didn't seem necessary because it vaped just fine, but in hindsight maybe I should have.

Meanwhile, I broke out the second one last night and I cannot get it to work properly. It goes from hardly any vapor, to getting a mouthful of juice, to leaking where it connects to the mod. I know Cisco says give it 24-48 hours breakin, but it's driving me crazy.

Any words of wisdom?

Maybe the wick is misdirecting the juice. Get a pair of tweezers and pull the wick out under the bridge, then rinse it in hot water, blow dry. Drip. Try again. All attys are not created equal. Some are great, some die in an hour, some just never work right. You may have a bad one.

Before you give up on it (not if it's your only atty) you might try getting the bridge out. Just rock it until it breaks off, but be gentle. There are YouTube videos showing you how. Without the bridge you can see the coil and check for problems.

2 weeks straight of vaping on one LR 306 atty is pretty good. You really should blow them out once in a while though.

Can you direct me to the videos? I'm fairly new to vaping and I'm not even sure I know what the bridge is. Thanks.

Here is one on dewicking a 306 YouTube - Kalojado Reviews: Joye LR 306 Atomizer & How to Remove the Wick The bridge is the metal mesh covered hoop that sticks out. Go about 4 minutes in to see the part about pulling out the wick.

I'll look for a good debridging video for you but try taking the wick out as a first step. As long as you never use carts with it, you don't need the wick. The QC on how they put the wicks in seems to be all over the place. Sometimes they come right out other times they are crammed under something.

By the way I never bother to wait for a complete dry on attys. I blow the excess water/vodka out and drip some juice in. The first few hits may be a bit watery but beats waiting out the dry time.
