Well, I almost bought a P3 last night. I’ve been using 2.5 Provarii for a couple of years now, and one of the few problems I have is figuring out when my batteries are getting old and need to be replaced. Somebody(I think it was Enaud) said they used the P3’s IQ feature to check the internal resistance of their batteries. I was going to buy a P3 for just that reason, but I wondered if there was a battery tester available that would be cheaper and work just as well or better.

That’s when my Gogglefu came across the Opus BT C3100 charger. It lets you test the discharge capacity of your batteries as well as their internal resistance. I saw a lot of good reviews on the candlepower forums and Amazon, so I ordered one, instead of a P3. It’s a little more expensive than other chargers, but not bad for what you get.

Opus BT - C3100 V2.2 Li - ion Digital NiCd NiMH Battery Charger ( US Plug )

Let me know how this works out for you please. That would be a handy device, I do use my P3 to cull through my batteries. Before that I would run them through charge and discharge cycles on my RC charger and look for mah capacity being diminished and how fast the voltage would drop off. That's a pretty time consuming way to analyze their state. The P3 made it a lot less time consuming for me. A four bay charger that can run discharge and track mah would make the task pretty easy and convenient. Thanks for the post :thumb::cool:

Me   too!!!

so please anyone...it the sangria purple different than the purple that I got at VV ?

I think the VV purples were the earlier solid, sort of pastel purple, while the newer ones are a darker metallic purple.

classies, I believe 440 is correct. The older style (NOTV) colors were more matte, and definitely more subdued pastels.

Darn, missed the pink/white hybrid. Looks like I'll need to check the Provape site daily for the next while to find these things. How do you know how many are still left in stock of a particular color? Where is that listed?

Smiling, there's this little trick (altho some claim it's not always accurate).... add a large amount to your cart (100 works), then watch the message that pops up. It won't let you add more than what's in the inventory.

It looks like checking specials for new "blems" is a good idea - there are more listed again - zombie, gold and gunmetal zenkote, black minis and I'm not sure what else, but quite a few! I might need an intervention.

How much of a fingerprint magnet is the Gold Zenkote compared to a polished SS?
The only polished SS I have is one I did myself, the GMZ and Gold Zenkote pick up prints pretty readily for me, more so in the hot weather, I'm not bothered by it and just wipe them down with a damp paper towel a couple times a day.
