I'm pretty sure they just added it to the rest of them today, there were only a couple that had that option before.I just went back to provape website. The option to change out the top cap wasn't there yesterday!!
(Or maybe I'm blind, lol!!)

Same here. Only just one from Zen. It's identical from what I can tell.I would say they are identical. I have some from Provape, and one from Zen. They appear to be precisely the same.
It was inevitable. I wish they had just done that from the git-go.I was just browsing what's left and Provape has apparently added the option to upgrade to P3 style top cap on all of the remaining 2.5's. I checked about six and all had the option available! 20$
I agree with Kat & Stanley, Lex. There is no difference at all.Is ProVape's P3 top cap the same one Zen is using? Too many ProVari threads to dig thru but I thought I read somewhere Zen's is better.
I asked... they never even responded...It was inevitable. I wish they had just done that from the git-go.
They are indeed the same, there is however a slight difference in the assembly that most are unaware of. Zen discovered a better way of capturing the board, by using an o-ring sandwiched between the top of the board and the bottom of the P3 top cap. This eliminates the need for the dreaded glue dots to keep the board in place! On a gold mini that I acquired from Zen, he included a P3 bottom cap with the extra heavy duty spring and told me that it was perfectly fine to use the P3 bottom cap with his improved construction modification. 45$ to have Zen do the conversion from slant top to P3 flat top, worth every pennyIs ProVape's P3 top cap the same one Zen is using? I picked up a few more mini blems from the specials page tonight, at this low price it would be crazy not toand I finally got the illusive (to me) pearl white mini! (fingers crossed) It seems like they keep adding ones that were supposedly discontinued but all of them had the option to add the flat top connection for +20
I have been of the mind that they are building them in runs from what available stock parts are left, it kind of makes sense seeing some come and go as they have been. Pure speculation of course, but it does seem to make sense to me at least.I have a theory about the continuing reappearance of mods-gone-by. Kat and I were discussing this very issue, earlier this very day.
Interesting...
I wondered the same thing back a ways. We will never know, all we really know is that the LED slant top ProVari's are most likely going the way of the T-Rex...I wondered if maybe they are buying old stock back from authorized retailers. I have to admit I was so (pleasantly) surprised at seeing the pearl white minis and maybe more so at the current price on the blems!
