guessing game: which 2.5 will be the last to go?

Curious but does anyone have the gun metal with a black ring on it? I got the taper top and kinda think I want to keep it that way but think I would like a ring. Used to have an old tatroe ring, and UT can't find it any more.

Posting here because this is one group I know is full of ideas!

Bought an Ataman II from a reliable member here, brand new. Unfortunately, when I got it I rinsed it and let it dry and then threw a build on it test it out. For some reason, the atomizer became fused with my 510 adapter and I can't get it off for the life of me!

I've tried freezing it, running through my ultrasonic cleaner with a soapy solution, and a pair of vise grips clamped on each piece. It will not budge. I may be left with trying to cut the connector off. I have destroyed the Provari 510 adapter and ordered another one (forgot to order the beauty ring though, damn!) so it doesn't matter what I do to that.

But, who would I even look for that could cut it off. I don't any tools like that, so what kind of business would I look for in my yellow pages?

And I tried to get spare parts from the manufacturer, they don't make them. So this baby is useless unless I can get this cut away.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ouch! Tighten before, not after... I don't know the solution? Of course, this being a 2.5 thread, minus the upgrade, this isn't a problem. Can they get a coin to turn that piece upside down? The nothches are there, yes?

I do believe I read on another pro-vi related thread that the assistance from those inclined to help, including ProVapes tips, worked and the atty was not ruined.

I have not seen one report of a ruined atty, btw.

I reported this problem with my atty fused to the 510 connector, and a lot of you jumped in with assistance including the Provape tips. Unfortunately, none of them worked and I ended up shipping the atty off to Provape. IF they can fix it, I'll be able to try out the atty for the first time. It won't be "ruined," but the bottom piece will forever be mangled from my poor efforts at freeing it.

ProVape is killing me But I did get to use my $25 reward on the last order and it only cost $100.70.

I ordered 2 blems previous to this ( flat tops) and they should be here by Friday.

The 2.5 is a fantastic APV that is perfect for me - so that's all I need and buy.

I just noticed that the flat top conversion is now listed at $20 on the Specials page. That's a good start.

I'm hoping for some big movement on the few P3 models on that page. I like the battery gauge and the ability to go from a 18350 to a 18650 depending on my mood and needs.

My son, in Mississippi, has my very first 2.5. A silver blem that he doesn't use any more. It got run over by a car and still works, lol!!! Trying to get him to send it back. Might have to ask his girl friend to do it!!

I've been fortunate to win a couple devices lately that buck voltage down pretty well, yet they still are not as smooth as my 2.5's. That makes stocking up some blems in 2016 very satisfying.
