Yes, power is a factor, but then so is the material you use to construct the coil, the manner in which the coil is constructed, the size and shape of the coil, its orientation, its position in relation to the airflow, the wick material, the juice, the battery and battery device, and so much more. But the most important thing is to find what is right for you. Remember vaping is not all about cloud chasing...but then again, if that is what you are in to have at it, that is just fine.

Watch all the videos on coil building, learn what does what, when, why and how, then get the proper tools, equipment and materials then have at it. The best way you are going to learn what the best coil is for you is to start building. However before you start there is a lot to learn that will keep you safe, and shorten the travel to the path you desire. One particular detriment to throwing money blindly at vape goodies is a drawer full of unused equipment.

See and hear what experiences that others have had with different types of hardware, original and clones.

Don't be in a hurry, enjoy the videos and when you start understand the ramifications.

Be safe and be happy.

I have been rebuilding my Kanger coils for awhile now, watched riptripper and pbursardo. Just wondering if there is some place that gives some explanation as to what the differnt build styles may do as far as heat.

I build my coils around a blunt needle, shoot for 1-2 Ohm. The Kanger cup doesn't leave a lot of room to work especially with my fat fingers.
