Gunk in new atomiser- is this normal?

I decided to pull out one of the replacement atomisers I got this fall from bestecig. It was sealed in a plastic baggy and looked clean. I took one look inside and saw this white flaky stuff. It looks like paint chips, and its a bit fused on to the metal, where I cant blow it off I have to scrape it.

Is this normal? Should I just clean the inside and use it or no?

scape it out w a tweezer and ur good to go-its prob just old primer that dried out n got crusty

could be something it was packed in at one point. try getting some really hot water and soak for a bit. then see if it comes off easier. the reason it's so hard to get off may be that the "primer" dried it to the sides.

Defiantly clean it thoroughly!!! But it should be fine. I'd still be concerned if you get a strange taste when you start to vape.
