There is a fine line between not getting enough juice in to avoid dry hits and getting so much juice in that it gurgles. The easiest way to fix it is to use an aty that sicks the juice up to the top. These don't flood but sometimes you get a dry hit.
You can usually get rid of the gurgle by turning the rig upside down and blowing into the drip tip. This will cause juice to come out of the air holes so cover them with a paper towel to catch the juice. The other think you can do is vape with the gurgle a few minutes and it will normally clear up.
Juice can have different viscosities based on what it is made of. PG is thicker than VG. Temperature affects how thick a liquid is. If juice heats up, in a hot car for example, it will expand and in most attys the only place for it to go is into the air chamber where it gurgles.
When, if, you get into rebuildables They will open up a whole world of hurt. Too much wicking? Not enough wicking? Wicking in the wrong place. Cotton VS rayon. Organic cotton VS Japanese organic cotton.
The worst thing is getting everything just right and having it go empty without noticing and burning the cotton so you have to start wicking all over again, of getting the build done and filling the tank only to discover the wicking is bad and you spill juice all over when you try to get to the build.
I WISH is just had occasional gurgling problems.
