So are you trying to say that I’m making this up or that I’m confused?

juice was coming out from every single hole when I turned it upside down.
There may be a problem with the o-rings then.
My top air Intake has been sitting upside down, full of juice, with the base removed for 2 days.
No leaks, just procrastinating the re-wicking.

My engine nano is top air flow and juice will stay in the tank upside down with base off or not..not sure what tank that the op has, does seem to have a problem to make the juice come out.

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a very merry Christmas ;)

So, last night I rewicked my RTA and everything was working fine. I refilled the tank and it continued working just fine. The two juices I used were by Dinner Lady. Then just a few minutes ago I decided to refill the tank but this time with some Jam Monster (75vg/25pg) and immediately I get gurgling, it feels like there’s just so much juice in the coil and I burnt my tongue big time with loads of spit back. I don’t get it. I’ve already tried some tricks from videos but none are really working. I need your help guys
Hey, This is really easy. Once you've unflooded the coil by blowing in it like you did and you still get spit back it is always going to be a wicking issue, anyone that tells you differently just doesn't know what they're talking about. If you're going to switch to a thinner juice wait until it's time to rewick and add more cotton. Right now your wick isn't tight enough in the coil for the thinner juice, causing the gurgling. Chalk it up to another new lesson.

The Zeus will leak upside down, no o-ring problem.

Thank you! I’ll try rewicking once I’m done with this juice. :hubba:

Also thank you for pointing it out. It gets tiring when people assume you’re crazy or stupid or making stuff up just because you don’t have ten years on this forum and/or vaping.

Sorry, wasn't assuming you are crazy or stupid or making "stuff" up.
It helps if you state what RTA you are using in your OP.
If it's not leaking when you fill only half way, it's a vacuum issue. Leave some air at the top when filling.
Just trying to help, but will refrain in the future...

Honestly the right thing to do, if someone forgets to include such information, is ask before assuming I’m the one doing something wrong or having the wrong knowledge about my own device.

It’s really unpleasant to come to a place asking for help when you’re frustrated only to have someone tell you that you must be incorrect because that’s not how tanks work. As if all tanks worked exactly the same

Don't go away puffon, pretty sure patvapes isn't seriously offended, and I know you can provide better input than I can.. I don't have any top airflow tanks, just to old school.. if I'm not mistaken op has a Zeus dual rta. We're all just here trying to help each other out. And occasionally have a laugh or two sometimes!

Well I have the Zeus and although I already knew it, I just put some juice in it, turned upside down on a paper towel and watched the juice leak out. I own other top airflow rta's that will do the same, others don't leak at all like the Juggerknot and mini.

If it is a Zeus, yes I can confirm it will leak if turned upside down, never realized that till now.
Seems to be leaking past the internal top chimney o-ring, that is not accessible.

I just rewicked and it seems to be working fine. I’m using a bit more cotton than usual. I have to keep testing though because when I cleaned it just a few minutes ago it worked fine and a few minutes later it started gurgling again
How tight is the cotton in the coil? Everyone will tell you that it should be tight, but not tight enough to move the coil and they're right, but with a thinner juice I almost want the coil to move ever so slightly. When you empty that tank can you take a picture of your build?

I’m sorry for snapping. My boyfriend of 3 years broke up with me one day before my birthday which is two days before Christmas and I’m just mad at everything. On top of that I just wanted my tank to work properly. I know I’m being overly sensitive

I’ll post a picture here when I’m done. Also, is it me or this tank just loves drinking up juice quickly? Or is that normal with all rta/rdas?
