Gurgling, bubbling carto.

Hey, everyone. I'm tying to punch my own cartos (801 mega fusions) for my tank, and I keep getting tons of bubbles and gurgling when I vape. Am I punching too deep? Thanks in advance for your response.

Probably....you may also be overfilling them.

It shouldn't gurgle much, should sizzle. Sounds like it's flooding. How's the vapour? Normally when they flood vapour production drops pretty badly.

Its producing decent vapor. I tried using 3 holes, because I use 100% VG juice. Too many? I think I may have pierced the airtube or whatever because when I blow through the carto, a lot of juice is coming out.

Sound like to many holes! Try 2 holes and don't go to deep just enough to get through the carto!

The carto is most likely flooded. Blow out the airtube until there is no more juice coming out. If it still persists after many attempts to clear then you punctured the inside tube and juice will continually leak in. There is nothing wrong with 3 holes for VG as I do that myself sometimes, just be sure not to puncture too far.

as posted before, try not to overpunch the metal. You can start with only 1 hole, and then maybe a second one

I've been having success with 2 holes, but sometimes I'd get some dry-ish hits, which is why I'm trying 3. Maybe 3 is just too much, but I'm gonna try it again and just be more careful while punching. If it still doesn't work, I'll definitely go back to 2 holes. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Try "primer puffs". Couple quick draws without firing the battery. If you see a bubble or two leave the hole, it's resaturating. Do this every once in a bit and you should be golden.

What size are the holes?
When punching holes, you only need to go through teh metal shell of the carto.

Don't know how you are punching...but if you're using a saddle valve then turn one rotation after the pop and it is perfect...I often use up to 4 holes for vg...so I know this works

Hmmm, tube isn't centered- probably easy to puncture it on the near side.

I have vaped 50/50 to 80/20 VG/PG and have one 2.5 mm hole. With 3 hole cartos trying plugging one of the holes with a round toothpick.

Try GENTLY pulling the carto end batt post out a touch. Will post a vid- couldn't find the vid.

Sometimes the 510-801 adapters need adjustment. Have you cleaned all the juice off between carto and battery?

Deep breaths- start over calmly.

yeah, everything's clean. i think the adapter is ok because i tested it out with the old carto i'm trying to replace, and it worked fine. i think that carto might have been a dud.
