Have you got to cutting the screw? I just ordered my Gus 22 and when i get it i want to do the mod? Where did you pick up the bolt from?

Got the screw and nut from Home Depot (see pic). I used a nylon threaded nut, inserted nut upside down. I then threaded the nut all the way down the screw and cut with dremel. I then used the Dremel to sand. Fits my Igo-L with slight gap, but fits flush with my AgaT. You should measure it with the atty you want to use and cut accordingly. Hits a lot better with screw. Just a warning, the spring you are replacing acts as an insulator against overheating so be careful.

Nice! I Have a Igo-L on my KTS now and i like it. and Nimbus on my Natural. I did that whole sanding down on the Natural and now my Igo-L wont work but works great on the Nimbus. So i learned from experience about measuring the atty. I'll go to home depot this weekend and pick these up. If you have time could you possibly take a picture of the actually bolt on the Gus on both sides so i get an idea what you meant by dremeling the nut. Thanks again bro!

So I basically screwed the nut on backwards all the way to the head of the screw and used the nut as a guide to cut the straight line. The nut protects the threads and it being a nylon locking nut keeps it from moving when you cut. When I cut with the nut all the way screwed to the head, it was a close fit for my Aga-T. You would need to measure from your battery to the atty post. Hope that helps.

Thanks Bro! helped alot. i got the Gus in and after using it for 5 mins with my nimbus. the hot spring compressed. so need to go home depot to pick up the parts to fix.

Thanks. I've been looking at the Gus also.

They have a couple left at Vape revolution. They are sold out on their online store but if you call them at the shop they have some in and can processed your order thru the phone. From what i remember they have the 18350 and 18650 in stock. This mod is nice. It now the shortest setup i have compared to my KTS with 18350 and igo L atty.
