I've been lusting after this mod for over a month now, think I'm going to order one along with the Estia and matching Lord drip tip when it all becomes available.

How have you guys been finding it on a day to day basis? Does telescoping it in and out score the inner tube as can happen on some telescoping mods?

I have had mine now since early January - it is in CONSTANT daily use. There is NO scoring of inner tube. The threads are all tapped properly and butter smooth. I constantyly screw and unscrew the tele - when not in use - I unscrew a bit and lock the button. I would be the first one in all of ECF to scream bloody murder is my tele was being scratched/scored.

Another thing - I am a known polish fanatic on all forums. The only polish this mod needs is the brass parts and then not that often. Polish has thus far not been necessary on all SS parts. Plus 110 percent on that. I have no negatives on it and I have been looking for faults like I do on all PV's before I recommend them.

Edit - Ok, just got a couple pm's re: is there ANYTHING that is difficult with it. Yes - if you have a hard time seeing and have a tad shaky hand, then - like me - I need a magnifying glass to put in a new fuse. They only go in the slots and can be hard to get started, especially if you cant see real well. Thats it - the only thing that could be a little hard.

Grrr - FearTX posted on another thread they are doing free custom engraving right now on Lord - better order it straightaway and worry about drip tip and atty later. My 2 cents. - who knows how long the free engraving will be. WISH it was on mine.

Now I REALLY want another one.

I've seen both qorax and the Karlsons engraving and I'm just not feeling it, I don't care for the fonts and it doesn't seem to jive with the rest of the mod IMO. I don't even know what I'd have engraved on it, my username, my real name....I don't know.

I think I'm going to leave it as is.

Come on D you know there are many reputable places you can have it engraved. But you are most likely speaking to the fact that there is no extra fee with Gus aren't ya? Lol, I know I saw that too after mine had already shipped, ARGH! At any rate IT JUST CAME IN THE MAIL. USPS JUST KNOCKED ON THE DOOR!!!! Hoorah!!! Took only 7 days, yes 7 days from the exact day I ordered it. I ordered on line the 14th Feb and got it today the 21st Feb. That is excellent delivery speed coming from Greece from what I have been reading. I wish those of you who are also ordering and or waiting that you have the same luck as I did. Now time to charge some BATTS and put this thing together and try a Vape (spoken in the true greek accident that I don't have, lol).

Congrats you got yours so quickly, NY was kind to you.

Far as engraving - You are right for two reasons

#1 reason - if the engraving place messed it up I would go wild, if GUS mods messed it up, they would just do another one before sending out. It would be perfectly done with same exact font as everyone else has

#2 - Too cheap to have name engraved on it. ehehe

Hmm, to each their own. Wherever possible I get mine engraved, or I get it done locally. And I feel they look gr8 ~ gives that personal touch & a sense of belonging.

And in the erstwhile days I had my Lighters, Cigarette Cases etc. engraved too ;)

Those look GREAT! Did the manufacture engrave or do you have someone local that you use? I agree, since I have ventured into the purchasing of a few I have actually thought there isn't much that sets them apart from somebody else's. You certainly have added that personal touch.

Hey D, what do you use for polish on the brass? I actually have a couple little blemishes that I have noticed on the top brass. Im wondering if there is something that will take them out without endangering the finish?

Hi FTX,

The difference in price between the LORD and the LORD-Lite is 20 EUR. Yep, that looks substantial ~ so, if you'd never use any Tank-RBA types - then go for it. B'coz, for all practical purposes the Lite and the 'full' LORD are otherwise the same.

But hey, did you hear about the Sophia (by Leo), or the Diver v2 (by Atmistique)? Well, many of us use those two fantastic Tank-RBAs ~ if you ever go for anything like them in the future - the Air-Flow Cap of the LORD might be calling.

Think about it and make your call buddy!

qorax, I was hoping you could help me since I see you posted this on here. I am rather new to vaping and I just got the Lord without AFC for no other reason than it was suggested to me that way but I wanted to ask what the reason is for not being able to have a tank type topper on it? I tried it with just a normal carto/tank and it seemed to vape fine. But then again I could be endangering myself and not know it? I am not sure how since it isn't an amp/voltage issue with a 3.0ohm carto. I obviously got it to start with rebuilding but I am still awaiting the delivery of my RBA's so I really wanted to test it out. Please let me know if there are some reasons as to why I shouldn't be doing it that way. Much appreciated.

I do not know how often Q checks back on his thread here. There is no safety issue with using the carto on a non AFC mod, if it works it works. If it doesn't you will not be able to pull on the carto, air flow will be blocked. If the carto is in a tank you will know if there is an issue because there will be juice coming out of your mod from flooding the carto due to no airflow.

The first two are "Point Touch Mod" by Vio3D from VaporWall. The deal comes with our vector images being engraved by the modder himself.

The third one is my first mod, the Sigelei #8 ~ I got it engraved locally. That engraving cost me more than the mod itself ;)

Hi, as FearTx correctly opined ~ you have nothing to fear(!). There's no serious issue while using a carto-tank over the non AFC top-capped LORD other than the inconvenience (if it is any) of noticing the slots on the top-cap.

It will work fine and will give you the same vape (and safely too) as with the 20 EUR extra costing top-cap. The slotted top-cap has the 'safety fuse' as well. Just that the newer top-cap is tad cool (again, if you think it that way!).
