However, I somehow like the original finish of the Russians more - too many shiny atties already out there
The bead blasted finish makes it a bit different. But hey, that's me. I have the matt K'funs too.____________________________________________

I used Flitz LIQUID - before I switched to Sharkhide. I bought Sharkhide because it was best for Aluminum and I had an original Rev2 new and unused. Its great for brass too - all metals actually.
However, I would recommend you buy the Flitz Liquid or Simichrome. RWechsler always used Simichrome before he switched over to SH. I see no reason for you to spend the money on SH. I dislike Autosol - too abrasive, Neverdull and Cape Cod cloths - thats me though. You do need some type of metal polish to keep your brass contacts clean and shiny. Some people say Mothers Mag Polish is great but I have no opinion on that.

For those who wish to protect their PV's and dont want anything bulky like Cigar Case, etc. I use these for every mod, PROTECTS the finish, some I then put into a leather cigar case.
