I've been vaping without issue for over 3 years. However, for the past month, I too am having some gut issues including ......... My stomach feels awful. I started looking at the BRANDS of vape juice I've been using. I do mix my own and there is some risk involved with DIY. But I am wondering if my most recent source for my vaping VG is my problem. (from Vape Vendor)

I bought some over-the-counter, USP-Kosher Food Grade, VG just for fun (?) (through Amazon). It is EXTREMELY thick. In order to vape this, it would have to be thinned...like 50:50. When I buy this from a retailer for purposes of mixing my DIY, it is not this thick. WHAT are they thinning it with???? And over time, does the thinning agent breakdown, or grow a bacteria strain that would cause abdominal distress?

3 years, no symptoms until now. I am scared to try the over-the-counter VG I bought.

All VG is not created equal.

If I might make a suggestion. My favorite VG is from Mountain Rose Herbs
it's derived from Soy not synthetic. I've found it to make a mellower vape then
other VG.
I use around 22% Alcohol based flavoring and the consistency has been perfect to
vape in any atomizer. You could use less flavoring and substitute alcohol or water.

Vegetable Glycerine – Mountain Rose Herbs
