Hi all

I think my SVD has died after just over 6 weeks showing 0.0A with no tank. I have no spare APV. I have put my ProTanks and IClear on eBay they just don't cut it and what flavour? I only stopped smoking 8 weeks ago, my first purchase was an Ego Mega VV clone dreadful unit wouldn't fire, wouldn't give a decent power output at 50% got my money back. Then I bought the SVD off eBay from new but I won't have any come back there.

I don't have much funds and in the UK what would someone recommend I buy that's not ProVari money and will keep me from the smoking dark side?

I just need something that will keep me going I don't want to spend a lot .

Any suggestions would be greatful!

Hi zero, that sounds like a right pain. If you need something fast, suggest you find a bricks and mortar nearby, totally wicked being a good option if possible. They do standard ego batteries. I have 3 of them and they have all held up without being bank breaking. On next day delivery, have a look at scan.co.uk. It's a pc shop primarily but under miscellaneous they do some reasonably priced batteries including an ego V V2 variable voltage kit for about £20 which is decent - mine has lasted a couple of months so far. I respect the provari crew but I can't afford them either. So far things have just worked that I bought from these 2 and its burning wicks that's costing me. Hope this helps.

Innokin iTaste MVP 2 VV/VW [VE535] - £49.95 : Vape Escape but it's not cheap, but I notice that a HIGH percentage on people on here all say great things about this mod.... Anyway I spole to the OP and he managed to faultfind his SVD and insert some insulating material inbetween the positive on his 510 connector and the ground which has provided a temporary solution to his electrical short until he can get a permanent backup

^ this. I keep telling him about cartotanks. The OP came round the house yesterday and tried my cartotank and liked it. Now we just have to gang up on him and make him see sense :) - but then again I tried his Ithaka atty and I was blown away. It was more like drinking than vaping there was just so much flavour and warm creamy vapour.

If i didn't have my r91% and KF clones i would still be using cartotanks, after trying everything they are the best thing short of KF type atomizers :p (i gave my 2 ithakas to a friend after using KF type atomizers, just for reference :))

Right, that DOES it. I nearly pulled the trigger on a SvoeMestro Kayfun Lite the other day. Now I just need someone to talk me down. "Step away from the credit card, sir..." :)

If you want to try one, go for a clone first or if you are set on an original get the KF lite plus with air flow control :)

mvp2 is a good for a lack of a better term coming to memory "jack of all" device it does the variable voltage/wattage maybe not to the quality of the provari but then again i dont have the budget for a provari so dont really know but at the same time is a really good device with a long battery life from my own experience in the 2 months + ive had mine is a daily user and goes everywhere with me i also use a mechanical with a good battery with a dripper when at the computer.
