H1N1 infused Apple Butter

Folks, I'll be here all week...restaurant is closed, super slow this week in SW Florida. So it's my week to make the kids teachers Christmas gifts. One year it was Pickled Okra for their Bloody Mary's another, Strawberry Preserves (you guess which year they liked better!)

This year it's Apple Butter! Yum! I've been infusing the Apples from start to well it's just starting to cook now, but I'll keep infusing...with Virus vapor's. I'm hoping for a delicious Maple/Cinnamon overtone that can't be missed!

So for the Virus is just delicious!

Well, the cinnamon has transferred through amazingly!



I'm gonna have to infuse my lungs harder to get a better maple transfer though...

Virus is still delicious!

Wait. What are you making for the NT family for Christmas? I don't think we've had a chef in our family before so this year could be special.

That made me think of a FB post I did one year when cooking Thanksgiving dinner by myself for the whole family. In our family, we can fix your car, handle your legal woes, take care of your finances, mend your medical issues, build your computer network or phone system, get your insurance handled, but I forgot to give birth to a danged chef!!
