Order some got dang tank stuff! Wow.. I've been vaping a couple weeks and have been like a robot topping off my cartos all the time. Yeah I saw the tanks and said wow those are cool. But when I did a quick google search and was overwhelmed again like when I got my first kit so I said forget it. I said to myself once I get my Provari I have to take the plunge. So right now I'm coming back from three hours I'd say of research and decided on the J tank from ElectronicStix.Com Your Premier Vaping Vendor Since 2008 and 10 prepunched 3.0 boge. I hope I did good! Ha.. one regret is should of added some dual coil but my budget hit its limit so hopefully they will work alright. I would punch the cartos myself but I'm clumsy as hell. Would probably end up cutting myself. I really hope the j tank will work well.

I've seen a lot of good reviews on the J-tank. I have one coming Monday in the mail. Also ordered a Lil Mama tank yesterday. Right now I'm using the Mom and Pop mini sub. I stick with the Boge 3.0s at around 4.8-5.0 volts. I have dual coils, but prefer the Boge 3.0s.

I saw the lil mama it looked great. Mom and pops I like how it has that hole deal easier to refill but i dont mind dropping the carto a tad. I also considered the MAP dct whatever its called but went with J. The provari broke the bank almost ha.

I got tired of all the "o" ring, friction fit, tanks I had pulling apart on me. Haven't had that problem since I started using the VISION Stone Tank w/screw end caps. They're supposed to be >2.0 oHms, I've never had one meter out at 2.0, always less. So, even at 3.3v on ProVari they can tend to get alittle warm when I chain vape. JMHO

Cheers,

I got lucky I guess, in that due to the delay in the Provari, the MAP tank I ordered a week later came in on the same day as the PV! The juices that tasted ok in my other PVs, and much better in a carto on the Provari, TOTALLY ROCK on the Provari + tank! Such a noticeable difference.

I really like the MAP as well, I was debating between the map and J. J ended up being a little cheaper so i got it for now. If i really like tanks I'll get the map later. That's good to hear about the flavor because I read on here some folks say the flavor is sometimes muted in a tank.

+1 I destroyed all my regular o-ring carto tanks due to tight fitment and nicking the o-rings. The actv3 and 4 also screw onto a 510 to 510 adapter to hold it very securely in place. I look forward to filling this tank, the quality of the ss actv4 is phenomenal, the threads and o-rings that it does use have given me no issues.

Tracking says J tank coming in tommorow.. I'll post pics once I get it going. If I'm not drenched in juice ha.. Anyways I have had good timing they only have the 5.5 tank in royal blue left in stock.

I put a tapered drip tip the same width as the cart on before I push the cart into the tank. That way the o-rings don't get damaged. Remember to hold those caps when pushing it through, though. Can get messy if you don't :D

I'll give It a shot. Unfortunately I don't have a tappered drip tip so I'm going to be patient. Going to use a juice I don't like much as a first run of there is a disaster. I'm not loosing a drop of Copper creek house blend haha. Should I lubricate the o rings a little with veg oil? I know it cant be to loose but I figure the friction to the plastic will wear the o rings quick.

Agreed with DRLyman; a tapered drip tip keeps your o-rings from getting damaged.

For those who've never seen one, they look like this:

You can find them in both delrin and metal.

EricHill, some people use a drop of e-juice to lube the o-rings.

I have a couple of the Smoke Tech tanks in chrome. I also ordered smoke Black tanks from My Vapor Store and they work wonderfully. The Chrome looks good on My Don, Omega, Provari...etc. I saved a lot of money and the size is closer in diameter than some of the "fatter" tanks. I have both the 6 ml and 3.5 ml setups

I put a quick thin coat of juice on them before I slide the carto in. Works great and gets back to tight pretty quickly. Remember when you change juice to wash the tank out :)

Do you have a pic of one of the 3.5ml tanks on the Provari? I've got the 6ml one, but I'm debating getting a 3.5ml, but afraid it may look funny if it's too skinny. Thanks!

Thanks for the great tips guys. Using the juice makes a lot of sense. I swear to god, since the mailman is being replaced by a temp the mail is late every day. It usually gets here it at 2:30. I checked again just now and nothing. I want my tank! Ha

Yep, once you start using a tank I bet you won't go back to filling a carto over and over all day. Much more convenient.

One of the worst offenders of tightness of O-rings is the BigD/LilM tanks. I had to change out the inner O-rings
because I kept getting either scarred thumbs or juice all over the place.
