Angus---I notice it still after over a year now of vaping. i have found it happens when I am doing something that I used to smoke while doing, but have not done so, since I started vaping.

For example--places like taking the car in for service waiting---I wanted a smoke real bad, but next time I did not.

Or in an airport---yes I wanted that smoke. Or it could be meeting up with someone I smoked with all the time. Or when I went to do my taxes. I have found over the course of the last year of vaping that there are triggers where a Vape just does not cut it and you want a smoke. The urge does go away, but it sure is a pain in the rear.

At least the good part is that it didn't make me want to actually go smoke a cig. It just made me grab my Chuck. Every other time I've tried to quit smoking, when that craving hit, I would almost have an anxiety attack because I needed a cig so bad. Now I know that I can just vape a bit and I'll be fine.

I still thank my lucky stars that I got my e-cigs. It's the best thing I've ever done. And it angers me greatly that there are people who want to try and take them away from me.

Anyone else just get a wierd craving for a cig for no reason after months of being tobacco-free?

I get the urge like normal but the 'weird' thing for me was for about 2 months + I was getting a mental picture of smoking (like seeing myself smoking??) which made it harder to resist. I still did, but thought that was odd. Not getting that as much now at 4 months. I'm also doing the 'a few drops of 24mg in a 12mg cart and finding that I'm not power vaping as much. I'm not heading for 0mg nic but perhaps 6 or 8mg, but likely will still do the 2 drops of 24mg or perhaps 18mg.... who knows. lol
