Hey there, I'm new to the forums and was doing good on my builds till today! I have a k100 and just purchased the Efest 18650 high drain battery. I have a Nimbus dripper on it also. Anyways, I have been having issues with getting the battery to hit (with original battery today) and didn't pay attention to it. I put the Efest battery in and I had a short, pretty quickly the button got very hot. I think I fixed the short... I'm 99% sure it was my firing pin not making good contact (since k100 has floating pin) I took the gasket off from top of firing pin in order to move it easier, and it seems to fixed my problem. NOW my question is the battery got hot, but not to the point of melting, it just barely melted the coating around only in one spot, I'm curious if I need to trash it? I haven't thrown it back on the charger just to be safe but I've been test firing with original battery and the Efest and it seems to be firing okay. I put a multimeter on the Efest and it still has a charge it just at about 3.9 volts right now. Should I trash it? I think I'm either running .2 ohms on my dripper or .4 I'm new to dripping and not sure how to read with multimeter (had a friend build it) but I just pushed an atomizer ohm reader to make sure I'm getting what I want. It's 24 gauge with about 8 wraps around 5/64 drill bit.
