New Member Here! Also need help.

Hi, my name is Peter. Finally signed up here after read a lot of different info about vaping. Not new to the scene, been vaping for about maybe 6-7 years on and off. I am new to the whole mods and RBA, but I'm a pretty quick learner. Reason for me to finally join a forum (first one for e-cigs =]) is I shorted 2 efest 1600mah 30amp battery on my new efest luc v4. I'm woundering if the battery is bad or my charger is bad?!? I'm only charging my batterys at 1amp. I have a total of 7 batteries (1 sony vtc3, 2 sony vtc4, 2 efest 1600mah, 2 unknown Imr18650 1500mah). All the batteries I have all charger fine except the 2 that shorted on me. Check the efest 1600mah with a multimeter both give me 0 reading. Any advice or ideas of what I could have done wrong or might be wrong? Readied a lot of good stuff about efest betteries too. Kinda bummed, I didnt even have the batteries for 2 weeks. Thanks. This forum is the best for info.
