And I hated it! It was the best RYO I could ask for, shag perfectly kept in a humidor. Still tasted absolutely disgusting!

I also sat in a spider web when I went to smoke it, and threw the analog out after 4 drags while trying to disentangle myself from the spider web. Symbolic? Maybe. Either way, I went back to my PV and enjoyed it infinitely more than the nasty death stick.

Thanks for all the support, friends. vape strong!

I'm almost 1 month in this time, I did have 1/2 an analog after about 2 weeks after a bit of a rough day and had the same kind of experience, but now it's been encroaching on my peace of mind everyday!!!! I just keep reminding myself of that....keep on vaping, keep on vaping....still vaping looking for nemo....

Funny thing is I've still lit a few out of my pack, mostly after reading threads like this, and they never taste 'bad' to me..of course I smoked clove/kretek cigs as opposed to your usual Marlboro or Camel or whatever, so that may have something to do with it. I still far prefer vaping for many reasons, but even after three months I've never had a problem lighting up at a concert or just out-and-about if I forgot to refill my tanks.

Here is my problem...

I have smoked twice in the 2 months I quit. I used to smoke cigars and mini cigars ( by the pack.) When I quit smoking regular smokes in the past and I lit up it always tasted like the backside of a rabid monkey ( we will not discuss how I know that particular taste.)

Quitting cigars and smoking one after any number of weeks it tastes like a cigar. I have only been partially impressed with the flavors I have tried. There are some I tank and most I end up playing around with. In the 2 months I have been vaping I sorta went a bit mad.

That is only a small portion :(

One thing I found out though. I found a Liqua French pipe and a 555 that I blend it with. Both at 24mg. I tank this for the " I need a real smoke, dammit" moments. It is an evil blend that tastes like a big ole stogie. It kills any craving I have. I recommend finding a strong flavor that hits hard and tank it in a cheap tank. Make it your emergency tank.

I keep some of Goodejuice's extracts for such situations when I'm "on the ledge" lol. I had the most bizarre craving for the ashtray last week while drinking. Their Patriot and Natural Perique hit the spot.

I guess I have a different viewpoint on this than most folks. Seems most folks see it as an epic battle to be won, I never paid too much attention to the transition. If I was going to smack the next person who acted like an idiot around me, I had a cigarette. If not, I didn't have one. What I did realize early on, and it sounds like the OP did also, is that the analogs really weren't offering me anything the APV didn't, and the APV had more going for it than the cigs did. Early on I made a statement to a friend that asked that I would never go back to cigs because they didn't offer me anything the APV didn't and it offered me things they never did, like great taste.

I think that's the crux of using a APV to quit, when you realize that it's time to move on from the analogs because you have a better alternative. Right now I have the same pack of cigs next to me that I had 4 months ago when I switched. The only thing that keeps me from lighting up is the realization that there's nothing I want there. The APV offers me more, and demands less of my body. Talk about a win-win situation.
