poly fill batting.

Hello, new to vaping. 2 weeks or so now with the Joye 510 and LOVING it! Just wondering, I noticed my carts are a little ragged and purchased some poly-fill batting to cut my own for my existing carts. Just wondering if anyone else does this and if it is a good idea? Seems to be the exact same material and works just as well as the batting that comes in the prefilled carts.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome! You should check out the posts in the Modders forum under the sub-forum for cart mods. People here have tried just about everything you can think of to use as a filler replacement. I myself use a combo poly fill with the straw mod and think it works just fine for me. I have a tea bag saved to try someday but haven't got around to it yet. Polyfill works fine, don't get the fire safe kind though. There are a couple of good video's on how to do it. You must keep it very loose, don't pack it tightly and it works best. Good luck!

Polyfil works fine, but will need to be changed at least twice a week (IMO) or performance goes down a lot. As dee5 said, DONT use the fire safe stuff, fire safe=chemicals. Pyramid tea bags work nicely, they are what I use until someone comes up with something better. I find I can go about 5-7 days before I have to change the PTB filler. (and longer if I'm being lazy lol) Sounds like you're a quick learner! it took me almost a month before I linked poor performance to old filler, and that was with the help of the people here. Dripping is also an option which works well, but can be a PITA if you drive a lot. Happy vaping :)
