Tacoma Wa,
Hey do you use photoshop or some other program to edit your pics?
I have tried various programs on pics but never seem to get the hang of it.
I love the smoke effect you did on the turkey costume pic, what program did you use for it?
I would love to do some album cover editing with some smoke effect like that.

OOOooo, now I am headin' fer the hills! ;)

Tacoma Wa,
I"ll try Gimp out and see if i can figure it out. :)

I use Photoshop CS5 and the smoke effect is made by using PS "brushes" in different shapes and colors. Oneweek, if you don't have an image editor, you might want to download Gimp, which is free. It is a good alternative to PS, but does have a learning curve.

Ok, I know this doesn't count... and I wouldn't stand a chance against some of those other costumes anyway... but I can't stand to have this thing on my head for more than about 30 sec. before I start to suffocate!!
I got it a few years back at the 99 Cent Store... LOL!!

Down in this here Texas we have a Turducken. Sorry oneweek, but even that sounds better that your Tofurkey.

Turducken

I've always wanted to get one of those, but I didn't know what they looked like inside... thanks for the link!! :thumb:

One year I had to do a last minute dinner for a few friends a didn't have time for a bird to thaw... so I got one of those Jennie-O birds in the cooking bag. Said you could put 'em in the oven frozen, but I still didn't believe it!!

I tell ya... that was the best bird I even had!! Moist and tender, nice and brown, with oodles of juice for gravy... and the best thing was, you didn't have to baste it!!!!! Just put it in the oven and forget about it.... We only have about 4-6 people for dinner and I've gotten one of those Jennie-O turkeys every year since... LOL!!

As far as making a turkey vape goes... they DO have two ends to 'em... you could always blow the vapor out of their :censored: .....

(although I think the Turkey costume wins hands down!!! :D )

I have always heard the turducken is really good - would like to try one but don't want to have to try to prepare it:)

Totally agree with ya, Kitty, the older I get the more I learn how to cook smart like using cooking bags....they are great for Christmas ham too.

Laura-Turkey smoking from the "other" end.............ROFLMAO just thinking about pulling that one off! I would have to hide until way past New Year's!

They come already prepared!! I've seen them in the freezer section but it was in a box... That one in the pics looks more like the real thing.
