You may have cooked the coils. The first time I used a mini I filled it but didn't give it much time for the wicks too absorb the juice before firing. So after that it constantly shed, the charred particles I guess into the liquid even after cleaning and soaking in alcohol. Didn't bother me at first but later I kept picking up the charred notes on almost every other puff. So I tossed it. none of the other 6 I have done this but I gave plenty of time for the wicks to absorb juice before firing. That's my experience. Your tank may not be that bad. But on your next order you could add a couple more minis and experiment.

Holy cow! I have been vaping for 17 days and just dove right in. I have 9 flavors of juice that I have purchased from my local B&M store and thought I was pretty satisfied with their "house" flavors. I have one joyetech juice as well. I know I will find the best stuff online but have been way to in to the instant gratification thing as of late. Anyhow I used to smoke menthol cigarettes so I have a few different variations from two shops here in town and like them. I wanted another flavor menthol and bought this blue bottle kind which I just read was Halo Sub-Zero. WOW, I do not think I will ever buy these local shops juices again! Now this is menthol! I think this has motivated me to stop buying all of these juices that I dont like and try ordering from the different vendors online. If the online stuff is like this juice I am sold. That's all

Yeah, I went back after work yesterday and bought Kringles Curse and love that one as well. I will try Malibu. I am going to pick up another flavor today, I am just so pleased with how clean and nice Halo's flavors are compared to the joyetech and local B&M stores flavors are. There is just no comparison

The Kringle's is really growing on me!! Especially as the outside temps heat up, I find myself reaching for it more and more. Very cool and refreshing!!!
Just got my Menthol Sample Pack in today.
First impressions; with Cool Mist I get medium menthol, spearmint and eucalyptus(?). One of my favorite warm weather aftershaves, Proraso, has the two unmistakable notes of eucalyptus and menthol. So Cool mist is kinda like vaping Proraso.
HX3; I'm having more difficulty picking this one apart compared to other Halo juices. Hmmm...light to medium menthol,...almond...almost like Prime 15. Some kind of fruit note in here...dark cherry? Cherry almond? I don't know. I like it but I think I need to refresh my palate and come back to this one. More to come..

I can't help but think there's some notes from Torque56 in here. Kind of that tart apple/plum taste. It's definitely well blended.
On the previous quote I was talking about HX3. More on the Cool Mist; it has tremendous vapor production that kinda lingers in the air. Hence the 'Mist' in the title I'm guessing.
Now to Mystic Menthol. I get basically menthol that's maybe a bit heavier than Cool Mist, and spearmint. Maybe a touch of the eucalyptus note too.
So, to summarize so far:
Kringle's Curse: Cool candy cane peppermint blast.
HX3: a Halo tobacco flavor blend with a touch of menthol. (having difficulty pinning this one down)
Cool Mist: Menthol and Eucalyptus.
Mystic: A bit stronger menthol, and spearmint.

I'm gonna make the conjecture, since its obviously a blend, that HX3 might stand for H=Halo X=times 3=three flavors or elements. So of course menthol is one. I think the other two are Prime 15(almond) and Longhorn(cherry) because it has that cherry pipe tobacco thing. But if its actually 3 other Halo flavors with menthol added that make the blend, then the other element could be Midnight Apple or Torque56(apple and plum elements).
But I doubt Halo's gonna give us the recipe.
So....(scratches head)..Menthol, Prime 15 and one or two other juices.
