Hi guys I have started out using Halo's e liquid. I first tried the Freedom juice 18mg, but found the throat hit a bit to much for me. I then tried the Tribeca 6mg, and it feels like I am inhaling fresh air.
One thing I have noticed is I get a dry throat from both liquids, nothing major but it is noticeable. Are they really high in PG? Would I be better off trying a 12mg strength from them or would I be better off trying a different PG/VG ratio juice from a different vendor?
If I was to go with a different juice which is the best out there for high quality juices to shop from?
Thanks for any help guys.

Halo ejuices are higher in PG than VG which can cause some throat irritation until you get used to it. Vaping does dry out your mouth and throat and requires one to drink plenty of water while doing it. Think of it as a win-win situation....most of us never drink the "required" amount anyways!! Vaping is quite different from smoking cigs and your personal vaping style is something that has to be refined individually by each of us (part of the fun!). There's some good tips here:

Halo doesn't disclose their PG/VG ratio. They consider it "proprietary". I've tried their a few of their gourmet flavors and the menthol sample pack but none of them really stood out to make me buy again except for the 12mg Sub-Zero. I've never been really much of a menthol guy, but its a bottle I always reorder from them. I have a 30ml bottle of it on my shelf and I always keep a small 7ml bottle of it in my pocket too. To me it's pure icy cold, almost no flavor, and a few vapes of it will cool me down from a stressful day, or knock some sense back into me when I get a craving for a cigarette. Adding a few drops of it into a tank with a flavor that I am bored with or aren't too impressed with will make the flavor "pop" enough to let me finish the tank instead of just dumping the whole thing. It wouldn't be a daily vape but it's always something I would have in my arsenal. If you have a few local vape shops that let you sample juices, I would take advantage of it. Flavor is so suggestive that one persons ambrosia will be another's spinach (yes I don't like spinach).

If you like tobacco , Heather's Heavenly Vapes makes some of the best NET's naturally extracted tobaccos available , you can get them in any pg/vg ratio you want including organic 100%vg , and they'll do customized nicotine levels as well , my favorites are Legend , a sweet cherry cavendish pipe tobacco with cocoa undertones , Huntsman is a earthy maple pipe tobacco , and Dragon's Fire , both cigarette and pipe tobacco with a hint of sweet white wine , honey and chocolate undertones , to taste tobacco you have to use tobacco not artibacco .

Thanks for the info guys, I'm just a newbie so finding my feet still. So from what you are saying it is normal to get a dry throat from all e liquids, and to drink plenty of water when vaping. Would there be any advantage for me to get a different liquid with less PG content? If so what is a good PG to VG ratio? Thanks

I have some Tribeca and 12mg, and went through it pretty quick. Throat hit was light to medium for me there on the G6 mini tanks. I'm not sure what you are using to vape, but I know with my tanks and high VG stuff, it seems harder for the silica wicks to soak up the juice fast since it is a lot thicker, and if I chain vape at all, I get some dry hits here and there. I've been vaping for about a month now, and tend to like to 50PG/50VG stuff right now, but you will probably just need to test some different ratios yourself to see what you like, and what works best with your gear. From what I understand, PG = more throat hit, less vapor, VG = less throat hit, more vapor. Good luck!
