And again! Order shipping on Monday, here on Wednesday. Ridiculous.

Remembered I ordered liquid, forgot I ordered a VV triton. Whole new game.

It's long, but it's amazing. I like the consistancy from fresh off the charger throughout the discharge, 3.9v from start to finish!!

You go, striderrblu, you go!!!

This is how I started I ordered a little each paycheck and now I have battery power to last 2 weeks. Now I still need Wheezal's little trinket box but it will have to wait I need more of my favorite juices and then next paycheck is for my sons prom fees. Ugh they grow up so fast.

I'm trying to not spend from each paycheck, because I aim to get that free priority shipping each time. If I did spend from each paycheck (to get the priority shipping) I'd just about break even with what I spent on analogs. I'm liking this VV though, and could use some tanks. Probably going to forgo the G6 kit, might get a Triton kit for my friend.

How do you know it's 3.9V? Do you have a multimeter or something?

Yes I do, but I was just making a point. The regular batteries will fade a bit from full through the discharge, and your vape will get colder with less cloud. But the VarVolt is regulated, and delivers a consistent voltage. (At a cost of discharge capacity. the 900 VV seems to last as long as a 650 regular triton bat)

And both my VVs are very accurate. If I set it to 3.8. it measures 3.8 (not really important, but it's nice to know, Halo quality, again!)

And you probably know this, but you can dial it anywhere between the red marks. It doesn't just have 4 settings, but anywhere on the "dial".

I'm sure you are gonna love it.

Yeah I've been considering getting a multimeter, but the problem is I'm not sure where to be looking. The ones I have experience with are a few grand, and I don't have the resources to be dumping that kind of cash for something I want to use for small projects at home.

Dave, do you know what type of circuitry is inside the VV? It is longer than a 1300 mAh battery, so I'm curious to know what is inside that makes it so much larger. I'm assuming that this is, essentially, a mini variac or something. It's sending VDC right?

all batteries are DC, they have a positive and negative pole that never oscillates. unlike AngieBe that oscillates into a crazy fit when she hasn't had Voodoo in over 30 seconds.

what makes itlarger is indeed the inclusion of a torroid and DC-DC converter to step down the output voltage. not a variac, a variac by definition is only for AC power.

I figured. After I posted I realized that variacs are for AC, but I wasn't sure what type of circuit you use to drop DC voltage. Thanks for the clarification.

...the inclusion of a torroid and DC-DC converter...(wheez)...

I'm curious as well. I know a simple rheostat would lower voltage, but not regulate it. The VV is an inch longer than a 650, but essentially the same or similar capacity. (Hoping Diva will send me her dead one for an autopsy)

A few grand for a multimeter? I didn't know provari sells a multimeter!! (sorry, Amanda, I can't help myself!)

A cheap POS can be had from Harbor Freight for $5.49 but it is a POS.

A good autorange small unit is this one from Crafstman at only $23

But this one is really cool. It has temperature and non-contact voltage detector for $30. (It can detect voltage in a wire without touching it!)

I think I might pick me up that one.

Flukes are nice and yes, pricey. They are professional grade. (envy). A few of the elec engineers at work use them.

And I said the HarborFreight one was a POS, but it does work.

I do work on cars and some wiring in the house (outlets, switches, etc.) A $20 or $30 tool from our friends at Craftsman will give the rest of us a tool for years.

ROFL, DaveOno:D

I bought my multimeter from Lowes for around $25. I think they had one at Frye's for $10 but I was too lazy to drive down there!
