Halo G6; the same as Volt?

So it has been my understanding that the Volt/Bloog MaxxFusion/Smoov/Halo G6 were, in essence, identical; that they used the same cartomizer and battery technology manufactured by the same company, and then branded them differently. I haven't been able to completely verify that so I didn't consider it to be unequivocally true, but, from everything I have found, I figured any differences were incredibly minor.

But yesterday I was looking at the Halo G6 a little closer (on the website) and noticed that the battery voltage was listed as 3.3-4.2v, whereas the Volts are advertised as being 3.6v regulated (a claim all but confirmed by steeljan). So, are the Halo G6 batteries in fact that fundamentally different? Are they of the older KR808 variety such that they are at 4.2v fresh off the charger and just wind their way down to 3.3v as they discharge? Or is that just a full disclosure of the possible voltages that could be seen with that battery? Also, if the batteries are that different, are the cartos fundamentally different as well? Was my "conclusion" that all those models were essentially identical, which was drawn from a variety of sources here, on r/electronic_cigarette, and YouTube, in fact unfounded or completely misguided?

If anybody has any insight I'd be happy to hear it. In particular, if anyone has taken any measurements or could point me in the direction of somebody who has, that would be greatly appreciated.

Twilight Zone
The actual working battery voltage you're reading is the same on all three. The pwm regulation is where the performance comes in. G6 calls theirs infiniglow. Volt claims more mah on their 78s but again I can't tell any difference in charge life. Although there are claims of different factories, all three cartos perform exactly like the Kangar bottom coil for me. Bloog has the best deal on batteries at this time as they are closing out the unsealed ones. I've been using unsealed for over a year and never killed one with flooding yet. The new sealed autos don't work with 808/510 adaptors for me. Can't get them to fire.

Ok; that makes sense. A few of my friends and I are quite partial to using the Volt manual batteries as small, portable e-cig setups, and I was looking at the possibility of incorporating some Halo gear as long as the performance would be the same. That way we'd have more flexibility depending on where there were sales and that sort of thing.

Thank you very much for a thorough answer, Wuzznt Me; I once again feel comfortable checking out those other products and telling my friends to do the same.
