The whole cedar thing worried me so I went with TVs tobacco to try - I can deal with not liking it, I bought a sweetner jsut in case lol, but cedar-y things make me get migraines so Id rather take my chances on that lol

CaptJay, I would be very interested on your take of the TV tobacco when you get it. I'm seriously starting to worry about the state of my tastebuds; some of the juices that get high marks on this site are simply unvapeable to me. And IMO, good call on the Freedom thing if you're sensitive to cedar.
Definately a cedar taste to the Freedom. I'm hooked on it though and don't taste the cedar much anymore. I also just put in an order for TV's tobacco in hopes that it gets me away from the Halo liquids. I vape too much Freedom and it's getting expensive... lol.. not to mention they sell out too quick.
I have had a number of emails back and forth with Jay....originally because he was letting me know why the Bella Vanilla was out of stock but mostly just chatting. I havn't talked to him about what their flavors are but I have a suggestion for any of you who are concerned about what you think you are tasting and rather.....not my word here but I saw someone else use it.......rather it is "toxic" or not. Write to Jay. Tell him your concerns. Don't post it here expecting any of us to be able to answer. All I know is what I taste...all you know is what you taste...unless...you find out what the exact molicular compound is and then Google it! That's what I do when I see an indgrediant that makes me nervous. And I can tell you that every single time I have done that I have ended up feeling a little silly. Because of my own lack of knowlege about chemistry the most innocent things look creepy to me....so I look it up and find out that XYZ24DTO (madeup compound,btw) is the molicule that makes an apple taste like an apple. 
So....please write to Jay and ask him if he would tell you that info and make sure you explain to him you are not asking for his recipe. Especially if you have a real sensitivity to a certain odor this seems a perfectly reasonable request and I think Jay would agree.
In fact Imyself will write to Jay and let him know he needs to make a post here. I really hate to see rumors get started that will harm someones business.
As for TV tobacco...Please do post here what you think!! I am also still searching for that "one" tobacco flavor that will taste like a damn cigarette! I know...it's probably feeding the addiction but oh well. I also know that TV has a juice trade subforum where people trade samples....try there first before you buy a whole bottle. And then send me a sample. LOL
Okay...truth be told I am still waiting for my Bella order from over a month ago. But again...Jay has been more than forthcoming about whats happening with their supply chain, (basicly it has broken down somewhere and THEY are still waiting). If your in a bind and have placed a decent size order I bet you could ask him to ship what they have now and the B/O'd stuff later. Please don't qoute me on that! But it's worth a try.
As you can tell I am pretty hooked on these guys and their product.
They are new and I think they are still working the bugs out. And again...no I'm not a mole 
....no I don't work for them ....yes I am totally neurotic about my juices 8-o and want to see a company who provides a clean pure safe product stay in business. So before you get p/o'd about the wait or say something in a post that could start a rumor that will harm their business...please write to them first. I know they will be happy to help you.
And there is my giant 2 cents worth about Halo.
ps...I tried the Freedom again yesterday in a new/clean cartomizer and to me the taste was pepper...like black pepper. I would not have thought of "cedar" but it is spicy so I can see why that might be what someone else describes it as. It's all subjective....and I have also noticed that the longer I go without smoking the more my taste changes. It also changes dependingon the time of day and how hard I've been vaping. so go figure???

Oh yeah nothing against his product lol I just hate cedar and if Freedom smells of it - well it would be a waste of money for me. I'd still be up to try the non cedary one lol

good god...how stupid of me!!! Your so right! I remember Jay mentioning something about the "holiday" screwing up their supply chain but that was in January. I got confused then too......I wrote and asked him "what holiday???" He laughed and said...ah...Xmas and New Years. doh!! SORRY JAY!
btw....I just got some Harley 56 and I liked it very much. I would say it is much closer to a solid tobacco flavor...but it isn't for anyone who smoked ultralights! It's a good strong vape.

Did I like it?
It's in the trash can.
Worst flavor and smell.
Tasted like solvent.
Might have been a bad bottle but they emailed me saying that no one else complained about that lot. blah blah blah.
Tried mixing it. Still tasted like crap to me.
I'm still perplexed by all the rave reviews for the freedom.(still think it's a silly name)

I have been using Halo Menthol Ice for the last 9 months and love it! I was a Salem smoker for years and when I went with vaping it took me a long time to find the right menthol. My sister gave me a sample 5ml bottle and I was hooked. You wont be disappointed!
Ahh, I remember this old thread! Halo menthols (I like them all) have been my everyday go-to vape ever since that first order.
