Halo sub zero bad batch or flavour?

Hi i read so many good reviews about sub zero menthol by halo that it was a no frills super menthol immediately i wanted some the other no frills straight menthol i love is siberian menthol from maple leaf vapes now thats straight menthol with a crazy blast. last week i recieved my order of halo menthol i purchased from vulcan vape a reseller of their product i loaded it in my protank two and you know what it was the most horrible menthol taste i ever tasted it tasted sweet and not the good kind and some menthol in some frankenstein experiment my question to everybody that has tried it is was the liquid supposed to be red and is there a possibility i got a bad batch?

Possibly, yeah. I just got some for the first time last week and it's pretty amazing. I love the cold feeling in my chest and it takes my breath away. I'd chalk it to a bad batch.
