EGO CE6 Battery Issue

Hi All,

I am new to the forum and relitivately new to vaping. I'm having an issue with my attery and looking for some advice.

The attery flashes when I press for power with my clearomizer connected. I assumed it needed charged up and connected it to the charger, the light on the attery flashed when connected (normally it stayed illuminated constantly while charging) and the light on the charger flashing green red.

I removed the charger and tried the battery on it's own.. It seemed to work fine (staying illuminated for as long as I pressed).

I have tried different clearomizers and the same thing happens.

Does anyone have any idea if I can fix it?

It might be in Safe mode... try clicking the button 5 times in a row and see what it does.....

When I clicked it 5 times it went into safe mode. So it's definitely not that. Thanks for the suggestion though.

It won't let me go into safe mode with the clearomizer attached. It just flashes as if the battery is dead, I had to remove the clearomizer.

I wish i could help you but im new to this too... so gonna bump this and maybe someone else will see it and can answer you...

I had this with 2 of my eGo batteries in the early days. I assumed the electronics (PCB, chip?) were dead.

It's possible your atomizer has a electrical short and the battery is saying "no".... but if you have tried a few, then I suspect the battery is dead.

Where's it all from? Local shop, online or ebay?

You can order fairly good quality batteries (Kanger) online for decent prices.

to be honest, I don't even know what a CE6 is.... and I know about most e-cig hardware.

Maybe you bought something low-quality and it's just bust....

(sorry, that sounds troll-like, but it's often the case).
