I changed the Mega to 1.5 ohms.
Welcome and glad you joined.
"Reactor tank, which holds up 5 ml of e-liquid and houses a .15 ohm Ni200 coil head"
"Reactor Replacement coils are easily replaceable and sold in packs of five. These coils, available in five-packs at .25 and .5 sub-ohms, are also a great way to extend the life of your tank and avoid the carryover of flavors."
re: Reactor Coils
Reactor Mega Starter Kit
I could not find Reactor Tank 1.5 ohm coils at the Halo site but did find .15 ohm ones. The .15 ohms are sub ohm coils and require advanced expertise to vape properly.
Might want to put the Reactor Tank aside if you can't get non sub ohm coils for the Reactor Tank. You may be able to purchase any non sub ohm tank that has a 510 connection (Halo has left the connection information off the mod and tank web sites) which should function with the Mega mod/Battery.
I would confirm the 510 connection before you purchase another tank.
For non sub ohm Tanks, I would check out:
The Tron-S, with the CLR coils, the EHpro Kayfun Lite V2, Kayfun V5, and the Subtank Mini with the RBA

Halo sells 1.5 ohm Kanthal coils for the Mega.

How much? I pay $7.50 for Eleaf heads, which is what they are.

The Reactor is an Eleaf tank with the special 'Halo price' on the coils.
You could also consider the ECML Eleaf coils (0.75ohm). These are gentle coils used for vaping at much lower power. The usable power range is smaller than Eleaf claim.
I've had bad hits on even 15w so it's more of an 8w-12w coil head i.m.o.

I just don’t understand.
The Triton has a 2.2 coil and is smooth and tastes great.
The Mega has a 1.5 coil and is harsh with little taste.
I use the same liquid in both.
With the Mega being adjustable wattage,
you would think I should be able to adjust it to match the Triton.
If I go below 15 W on the Mega, it won’t vape.
I just dont’t understand.
Very frustrating!

What mod are you using and what ohms and wattage ?

I use some of the regular Eleaf 'EC' coils. The 0.3, 0.5, the 0.75.
The 0.3/0.5 anything up to 35-50w, the 0.75 I keep down at standard MTL watts (10-14).

The mega will have probably come with a coil that won't 'get going' less than 25w, at a guess.

That's how these sub-ohm ones seems to play.

I suspect the Triton coils (same as Kanger T2) have thinner wire than the Reactor coils (eleaf). That means the Reactor will need more wattage to heat up quickly. Your Triton at 2.2 ohms and 3.7 volts is running 6.22 watts. You will likely need more like 10-12 to heat the Reactor coils as quickly.

Also, you are comparing a top coil silica wick tank to a bottom coil cotton wick. These are not ever going to vape the same way and the liquid will taste different.
