Hey Halons. As many of you know, I was vaping only SubZero for months and months, as it was the only thing that got me to finally cut down on my beloved menthol analogs. Recently I re-visited my old #1 favorite, Tribeca, along with Midnight Apple, and definitely love both of them. However, I think what I'm in search of next is a more--I don't know how to describe it--even and inoffensive tobacco. Something less sweet so I can vape it for longer without getting sick of it, or getting vaper's tongue.

Are my brief descriptions below correct?

Turkish - Cig tobacco. Period.
Prime 15 - Tobacco... how is this different from Turkish? (There's cocoa in it, maybe?)
Torque 56 - Punch to the throat with a fist that's made out of tobacco
Longhorn - The website mentions cavendish, so I'm guessing this is like pipe tobacco
Captain Jack - described as a strong pipe tobacco which sounds nice, but this one got the most "alcohol/perfume" comments on the forum
Voodoo - I have tried this once before but all I tasted was prunes
Freedom - Again, how is this different from Turkish?
Southern Classic - I like the description of cloves and vanilla, but the negative customer reviews all mention cough drops

So if all of that is accurate that would make Longhorn my safest bet. What about Prime/Captain? Did I do my homework right?

Turkish - the Camel equivalent, although without the burning flavor
Prime15 - pretty Earthy and almost peaty. has a chocolate undertone if your tongue is sensitive enough to pick it up.
Torque - yum, slightly sweet base cig tobacco.
Longhorn - yum, slightly sweet pipe-style tobacco
Voodoo - you get cinamnimon...cimononononom...cinnabon....you get the spice if you let it steep away the mediciney flavor
SC - i never got cough drop, but it needs a steep and then the clove takes over.

i left out the ones i either havent tried or have forgotten aboot.

That's interesting, about Torque. Everything I read about it is just like "OMG, look out, the flight to Throat Hit Island is about to take off and you're our ONLY passenger, buddy! Step right up and prepare for this steel toed boot made out of hot tobacco and black pepper to be inserted into your esophagus forcefully. In-flight entertainment brought to you by AC/DC and self-hatred. Buckle your safety belt, jerk!"

Maybe I'll go for Torque and Longhorn. I definitely didn't get any cinnamon from Voodoo though, just a cloud of prunes. :(

it sounds like you need teh tobaccer sampler tin!

then once you find your flavor(s) go back and order teh big bottles!

Yar, you'd think, except the sampler has Midnight Apple and Tribeca and I already have 30's of those.

Definitely go with the sampler tin, as your expectations honestly sound a bit off. It is the cheapest dollar/per ML option too ($25 for 42ml's plus another 10ml's of MX.)

Half of the flavors you mentioned aren't in the sampler (capt. jack, voodoo, freedom, and southern) so you will have to order a sample separately if you're interested in trying them.

You know I have to take advantage of the opportunity to shamelessly promote and defend Southern Classic. Citrus and cloves! Sweetened with honey and a touch of vanilla. No cough drops, that's sorta funny.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, I fully acknowledge that I've never tried any of these juices so I was just trying to summarize general opinions that I gathered in about 3 seconds total. Not exactly accurate research. :D I'm sure I will try all of these eventually. And thank you for your thoughts on Southern Classic, you make it sound pretty good.

I'm a huge Prime 15 lover here, and received a bottle of Longhorn over the weekend. I was so surprised at the subtle, yet full flavor it has. Freedom is also good, tried it for the first time this weekend as well. The vapor it produces me reminded me of smoke, strange. I liked them both.

Turkish is the only one I didn't care for. My take on it is the sweetness that is in the background of Torque is what Turkish is all by itself.

I disagree with more than half of your quick general summaries you gathered. Especially the one with Capt. Jack. I have had 3 different bottles of it now, and NEVER got perfume or alcohol from it.

Greenleaf has it, just order them all in the 7ml size. All of them are pretty good, the only halo juice I plan on never vaping again is Freedom, but that was all about my own tastebuds and not the juice.

Torque and tribeca mixed to taste is your best bet.

Torque is only harsh till you get used to halos flavors. Once your tonque is accustomed to all the different nuances of halo juice I guarantee you'll dig it.

Longhorn and Turkish mix really well with both...or if you're anything like me you'll end up mixing all four to your liking.

But remember taste is subjective

Thanks for your thoughts! I've been buying Halo e-liquid for a year now so I think I'm good. :)

Thanks all. The more replies I got, the more I regretted starting this thread. I want to stress I wasn't trying to slam or insult any of the juices, I haven't even tried them. I was just attempting to summarize descriptions and customer reviews that I had briefly read. I guarantee that I will buy small bottles of all of these sometime this year, and try them for myself. I think my first run at this may be Torque and Longhorn, and maybe I'll give Voodoo another shot too. Vape on!

If the torque is too rough for you, it's great mixed with tribeca. They balance each other nicely so the tribeca isn't as sweet and the torque is less harsh, in my opinion anyway

OOHHH...this sounds awesome! Going to have to try this mix!!!!!

Torque.

If torque is too much, then add a bit of these...

Fusion. I'm vaping a lot of torque plus fusion, about 2/3 torque.
.

This IS awesome! Fusion mixed with anything is the BOMB! And I love the boost of extra vapor I get with Fusion!

AngiBe, I can't believe I bought a 30ml of Fusion, without first getting a 7ml sample. And I can't believe it's almost gone already. This next one will not be at 12, but going to 6. Gotta have Fusion in my stash!

Machinestatic, I do suggest Torque for you. It's the closest to a regular analog in Halo's lineup.
