I like to crochet but I have only finished two projects that were bigger than scarves. I usually end up crocheting in the winter because that's when I remember that it is cold and I want a blanket or need a scarf and can't find the one I made last year. I used to play WoW but haven't since Wrath because I just don't have the time. I work full time and go to school full time. I do miss WoW though. I'm glad that there is someone else who hates shooters. People usually look at me like I'm stupid when I say that. I like to read, but also haven't had much time to do that. Seems like the only thing I've been reading lately has been tax laws, which is not nearly as interesting as some good fantasy fiction. Also, baking. I love to bake stuff from scratch. Hate to cook, though.

ok, get the easy ones out of the way: reading, video games, movies, hunting llamas in the wild, television, etc.

ummmm....well here in Texas we have 10 months of blistering hot weather followed by 1 1/2 months of nice weather, followed by 2 weeks of cold. so there's always getting on the lake; fishing, jet skiing, scuba diving, watching gurlz in bikinis, etc.

occasionally i skydive with a club, but do that less and less these days. a teensy bit of hunting with my dad; deer, boar, doves, drifters, etc. my dad also taught me how to cook, so i like to do that.

ummm, thats about it...oh i do worship the ancient evil entity of Yog Sothoth and sacrifice traveling salespeople on an alter made of chicken beaks. but thats a bit on the boring side.

MMMM Baked goods, I like baking too. I love Cake, brownies and COOOOKIES.

Scuba and skydiving is on my list wheezel, one day, one day.

well at first i didnt like either one, but they were mandatory training for SERS. and any combat pilot has to know how to use a parachute. but once i returned to civvy life, for some reason, i got an itch and starting doing them again. Scuba diving is kinda tough, this just isnt a good location, but its a good thing to know for traveling.

skydiving tho..thats easy, and not as expensive as most people think. no need to wait, do a quick search on the interweb and you'll find plenty of places in yer area that can get you started.

Guitar (74 Strat, 81 Takamine 12 string), cooking, mostly BBQ and my killer ribs, working on my Volvos (have 2 940s, each finally broken in passing 220,000 and just retired a 240 with 425,000) rc helicopters, I fix 400 day anniversary clocks.

But recently, vaping is stealing time away from all of them. It's a good thing.

Wow! Great thread! And after reading this, I'm boring! I was in Real Estate for almost 9 years got tired of dealing w/crazy people and went into building products distribution sales for almost 9 years. Loved it, didn't have to deal w/catty women, towards the end I focused mainly on commercial business and covered In, Ky and Oh.

After about the 20th time of my back going out (herniated disc L4-L5 and SI joint disfunction that I got from tripping when I was shopping..yes true story and I HATE shopping) from sitting in the car all day long, I had to go into early retirement and it crushed me. I miss my job, coworkers and customers but my last back bout put me out for 3 months. So now my life consists of Pilates class on a reformer 3-4 times a week, treadmill and elliptical at home and weight lifting. Knock on wood, I have been pain free for two years.

I do Volunteer work w/the CASA/GAL program (not to be confused w/CASAA) and although at times depressing, it keeps me busy and i hope I'm truly helping these kids. I don't have my own kids by choice and always call them leeches, rug rats and so forth but I do have soft spot, somewhere, for kids. I just don't care to take care of my own full time..I am the oldest of 7 and been there, done that.

I also work, sort of, part time but we've out grown our space, my office was given to someone more important and I found a larger space for the company that we will move into in Dec so I can have an office back and make money for vape stuff. ;) Other than hanging w/my husband, friends, reading gossip mags, watching TV, going out to dinner/drinks and dreaming of every single beach in the world I'd love to visit but never will cuz I can't get enough courage to fly there, my life is pretty damn awesome and boring, just the way I like it.

PS..wanted to add that before back issues, I did more fun things, really. I use to water and snow ski. But when I lived in Fla, going on snow ski vacas were great-Park City, Deer Valley, Vail, Keystone, Breckenridge..loved it. Now that I live where it snows, screw it. Give me a beach!

i'm super boring, my main interest is linux open source, open hardware, open data, open democracy, anything open. they are all related in some way.
i like reading conspiracy theories, even though some make me mad.
I like science, the idea about coming up with a theory, testing it, recording the results, publishing your findings and having your peers review it.
I like some eastern philosophies, things like karma, and buddha, I don't take them too seriously, but I like to do good things with no expectations of a reward.
