Halp! Stripped battery cap on IPV Mini

Just got an ipv mini last week, and the battery cap won't stay on at all! Got it duck taped now so it works for the time being... Anyone know of a fix/place to get replacement parts/pioneer 4 you return policy? Any help is appreciated. This mod is amazing and everything seems well built other than that one damn thing!! Thanks

The battery cap on mine was not stripped, but it was damaged when I got the device from Elev8 Vapes. They just mailed me a new replacement cap.

BTW ... If your cap is completely stripped, the threads in the aluminum body of the device are more than likely stripped too.

Got a pic of the threads on the cap and the tube? How long ago did you buy it? The place you bought it from might just swap it out for you if it is both the tube and the cap that is damaged. If it is just the cap maybe they will just send you a replacement. Sucks.

Might consider how the threads failed so fast. otherwise it may just happen again with a new cap.

I pull my batteries 2-3 times a Day but am careful about starting the threads and always keep upward pressure on the cap to counter the springs push. I Also stop just at the point it gets snug.

I Did notice All the chrome is worn off the threads already. Brass Cap.

Would be good to see a few suppliers carry the Cap as a replacement part. I have already seen one on Youtube completely stripped.

Looked at 101vapes return policy and it only said 48 hours AND unused and I'm sure sending it back to china at p4u itself would be a shipping black hole.

That Policy is For DOA Returns for refund, not for a Defect of this type. Email them and explain what has happened.
