This evening, when I was at work, my ipv mini 30 watt model got really warm. Hot really in spots. The thing is, I did not have it on at all so there is no way that it was being auto fired. The battery I have in it is a new battery, but it has been working fine. I should mention that the USB port has been broken on the mod for a little bit and when look at it, I cannot see the USB port where it should be at. Someone said that if it is floating around it could have caused a short on the chip board, but I don't know if this is the case because I think the USB had been floating around for a couple days now that I think about it. Has anyone else had this issue? What are your thoughts on this and if I am going to have to replace the mod with a new one, what should I buy that won't cost an arm and a leg and is good?

This may be in the wrong section. Hopefully not, but as an update I went to the local shop today. A guy there looked at it and put one of his batteries in it. It instantly started getting hot as soon as the battery cover went on. He took it back out and saw that the positive battery post was slightly off center. Moved it back, put in his battery and it would then come on, but only sometimes. Long story short, I retired that mod. I bought an aspire cf subohm for now. For 10 more watts of power maybe this is what I should have started out with anyway.
