hammer mod question

Hi I have a hcigar hammer mod clone with a nautilus tank but the vape production is low I use Efest 18350 batteries as suggested by seller any tips would be greatly appreciated thanks

Is the vapor production low right from the start (with a fully charged battery)? Are you using the BVC's for the Nautilus?

Thank you glad to be here. And yes im using the bvc had alot of problems with the horizontal burning out the battery is fully charged I have no clue what im doing wrong

Whats the resistance of the coil?

Its the 1.8 bvc so 3.3 to 6 im running at 4.2 at the mod could I be losing voltage at the center cap?

It is a mechanical, the resistance is to high to work well I bet at 1.8 its almost anemic. I would suggest anything over 1 ohm is not going to be very productive, in a mechanical the battery voltage is the usage voltage. Our batteries only stay at 4.2 for maybe 10 minutes then slowly goes down.

Meaning each puff you take is getting worse and worse

The recommended range 3.3 to 6 is for a regulated mod

Unfortunately some of the hammer clone mods have some really bad voltage drop, meaning that even if your battery is fully charged it might be delivering a full volt less because of it. Not sure if this will help but you can watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n19Wtg_JmbE.

I have heard about the issues like huckleberry mentioned as well. I'd give it a shot if you have the 18650 extension and try some different coils you're familiar with.

I went to the locksmiths today for a couple of those springs and my vape production went up immediately. I do have the extensions unfortunately the 18650 battery I have is bad so I cant try that route until I return this one but will definitely be looking into that option as well. Thanks alot for the insight honestly I was getting a little discouraged by all the bad connections and low vape production problems ive been having you all saved me alot of hassle I really appreciate it.
