I was an early adopter. I was one of the first people to buy a VTR and i love it however its time i step out of the Clearo world and try something different. i started building my first box. Those of you that DIY i was wondering if you've used things like Voltmeters, USB Chargers (both in and out for phone chargers) and some of the other fun stuff. and how did you mount it in your box? Where did you mount it? and Was it worth it?
Heres my parts list of what im building:
Hammond 1590B Aluminum Die cast Case
PPTC 77 ACT TEMP 6A HOLD (Restable fuse X2)
16MM Anti Vandal Momentary
Keystone 18650 Battery Sled
Magnets
MOSFET IRLB3034PBF N CH , 40V, 195A, TO-220AB
3-pin Slide Switch IM231
Fat Daddy 510 V4
doge V2 Competition
VTC5 X2 (bought from a local shop i trust)
And i guess why im asking the question i also bought some other stuff that's totally optional but i wanted to play with
SMAKN® 0.28" Mini 2 Wire Dc Voltmeter 2.7~30v Voltmeter Gauge LED Voltage Detector
DROK® Ultra Small Mini DC Power Module DC 3V to 5V 1A USB Battery Converter Step Up Module Charge for MP3/MP4/Phone Samsung Galaxy S3 iPad iPhone 4S 5 6/6 Plus etc.
SMAKN 5V Lithium Battery Charging TP4056 Board 5 Volt Mini USB 1A Charger Module DIY
~ If i use this, Is the Voltmeter the only way i can gauge the charge on my battery?
Any Advice here is much appreciated to save me the headache of trial and error
