Hey all just purchased this from mouser and brainstorming how ill make this work for a ptr08060 with pot and voltage display (from madvapes) and two aw imr 18500 in series. Will be a little tough seeing as only the top and bottom come off. Can see this being a very durable mod.

I have a project going with the same setup, only with a shorter in height abs radio shack project box and am finding it very restricted in space - am having to switch from electrolytic to tantalum capacitors.

I like building to last/to be able to repair down the road so wiring everything and encasing it in hot glue is really what I want to do as a last resort. Maybe also if I have the room I might do a digital pot and some kind of switch to turn the volt display on and of. Hmmm

Will post my ideas and diagrams and they flow thru and out my brain :) :vapor:

Yes, those extruded enclosures are really nice looking. I've looked at them before through web searches and by going to manufacturer sites. However, size options are rather limited on the ones I've come across. Likely, you up with a lot of extra space. Usually not a big deal for most applications, but for e-cigs, you try to avoid making your mod any larger than it has to be.
