That depends on what a person is looking for. For my (relatively low wattage) tastes, the Provari offers one of the two smoothest vapes I can get. The dna's are nice, but don't compare. Again, I'm low wattage and very likely staying here. I've been enjoying it for much too long to have any interest in changing it.

Let others race, if they wish.

Hey there DPLongo22. Long time no see.

Correct, and then 6 months down the line you find that it may not be what you wanted and end up wishing you had just ordered the hana in the first place!! I got the hana cause I wanted a DNA 30 device and liked the look of this device, there are plenty of other DNA devices out there which are more available and will perform the same. Provari are great but they just don't cut the mustard in today's performance standards.

Sorry if that sounded rude. I'm seriously looking to buy something today. The waiting list crap drives me crazy with guitar pedals and now vaping devices.

If you're not looking to create weather systems in your living room, grab a Provari. There was one for $100 on the classies the other day. Talk about a deal.

If you absolutely need something of higher wattage, and don't mind not having a screen, you can check for one of the EPM's from Australia. I've got two and wouldn't trade them for anything. They run 6-34 watts and are as smooth as a Provi. They also can go low, which the DNA's cannot.

There are a couple of threads here on ECF, if you're interested in learning more. One of them is a video review, and I'd recommend that first. It's not a device for everyone, so do your homework first (if even so inclined).

The 30W clone just dropped on Fasttech for $56.

My issue with the Hana is that they charge way too much for something that's really just an aluminum box to house the $40 DNA chip.

As long as the circuitry holds up to time, I'd agree with you. Like I said earlier, I've got two v1's that have been running perfectly for a full year. We're having a birthday party for the twins later, by the way, if anyone would like cake. ;-)

For me, the next thing I buy from China that lasts a year will be the first of its kind. I hope the clones DO hold up, but I've no interest in being a beta tester.

How's your phone? How's your computer? Your TV? They're all made in China. I hope they lasted over a year. "I hope the circuitry holds up." As if soldering is some high level task only Americans and Germans can do.

I stand corrected. The next VAPING thing I buy....

Better?

It's the truth. What do you want me to say?

All of the mentioned equipment are not $50-$60 though are they...

They are also not clones, are they...

All in all there is some crap and there is some good, it all has to stand the test of time and be cost effective at the end of the day.

I'm happy to spend out on good vaping gear. Why? Cause it's cheaper than cigarettes and is a little well done prezzie to me for not killing my self...

Large companies who make phones and computers- like FoxConn, have rigorous quality control standards and testing at the factories. Apple even has their own techs and engineers at the plants. I can't imagine a nameless, random factory which makes vape gear would have the same system in place. Given the amount of 'problem' threads, I know they don't...

Well, thank god you can buy 7 clones for the price of a real one. Lord knows, aluminum boxes with a basic chip, 4 wires and 6 solder points need rigorous regulation.

7 is a good number. I like 7. I'm sure you'll get plenty of mileage from them, so enjoy.

ECF does a good job of making sure that most of us can't use the classifieds. It seems to be designed so that people who sell stuff via ebay/paypall/whatever can get verified easily, but people like me who would only be interested in buying can't do it.
