After 3 days on the vape, I'm quite sure I'm done with the analogs. I am a mason and need a hands free solution for work. Is there a lighter weight pv for hands free with the performance of an 808?

I have an RN4081 - It is a bit heavy (compared to a cigarette), but the slip-over the atty carts are easy to grip with the chompers. This unit comes with a pretty nice sized automatic batt that makes it ideal for handsfree vaping.

That is one of the things that is difficult to get used to when switching to vaping. Not being able to hold that cig between your lips. No matter what you find out there, you'll probably end up holding it in your teeth. I was just talking about this with a friend of mine yesterday. The idea I came up with is to buy some clear tubing that would fit snugly over the tip of the mouthpiece and just string it from where ever you put the PV. You know, like one of those beer hats with the tube
I don't think you'll be able to find lightweight/smaller PVs and still be able to keep performance/battery life. Some of the lightest ones out there are either the super minis or the 510. Either way, you'd be losing a lot in battery life. I'm assuming you want to use cartomizers on an automatic battery. The only thing I can think of at this point is a flat or whistle tip mouthpiece. The only flat tip cartomizers I've seen go on the eGo. I could be wrong, though. There might be a flat tip available on the 510 cartomizers?? Hopefully someone else knows this or you can search around a bit for one.

I gave my brother an eGo kit...he was used to hands free smoking too, so I made him a leather lanyard to wear it around his neck. He just reaches down and takes a hit when he needs it, and the battery lasts him the whole shift.
I'm thinking the tubing idea may be the solution. Should also cause some hilarious banter among the roughnecks.

That reminds me of the second day that I had my PV. It is a 901 with a whistle tip and I had been using it for 2 days and also holding it with my teeth when busy. That night as I got ready to sit and watch some TV before bed, I went in and took my dentures out for the night. Yeah, you guessed it, when I got back to my chair I picked up my PV and when I reached for the TV remote, put it in my mouth. 
Yep, It just fell out and into my lap.
Still being new to vaping I jumped up and started trying to put out the fire.
Of course there wasn't any.

I use a laynard to wear my PVs around my neck and it is good when working for a quick vape, one of the beauties of vaping, it's always lit. I also found this while browsing today, might help you out with an auto batt.

I'm currently using a 510 and cartos. I cut down one of my old whistle-tip carts and stuck it on the carto. I cut it down on the end that inserts into the carto so it wouldn't press down on the filler/coil. My husband uses a drip tip on his cartos. Either one is good for grasping between the teeth.
When you graduate to one of the better and more expensive PV's there will be no holding it in your teeth. My 6v Prodigy V3 weighs at least 10 ounces, more than a banana. If I tried holding that thing in my mouth, it would probably break my front teeth. It's definitely a hold-it-in-your-hand, take-a-few-hits, then put-it-down kind of device...
You could use one of those goosenecks and an automatic battery. Put the battery in your shirt pocket and stretch the gooseneck up to your mouth. It is about the best solution I can think of.

Someone actually made a hands free mod---picture of it somewhere around here.

An KR808D-1 or XL has a working voltage of around 3.7. Almost all of the other batteries have a lower working voltage of 3.2. The R808 with the same ohm atty or carto will give you a more intense vape. More hit and more smoke. To duplicate that with another battery you need a to use a lower ohm atty or cartomizer. The problem is that a lower ohm atty will use more power and drain the battery quicker. You can try a 2.5 ohm atty or carto with one of the 510 thread batteries. Be aware that it will drain the battery quicker and possibly shorten the life of a small Battery. If you go any lower in ohms you are definitely risking the battery because it just isn't big enough to handle the load.
