Anyone use this beast?

I want to try one, look at that insane vape shooing out of that sumbitznitch.

Anyone have any other suggestions for the absolutely most flavourful coils? Been toying with the idea of some fused Claptons too.

I'd love to hear, and more importantly, see some flavour coil setups!

Simple Three strand parallel coils for the win. Large contact surface area with super fast ramp up time.

Dont get it wrong those are artistic works of metallic beauty, but if you understand how vaping works you'll get much better flavor and vapor production from parallels.

Thanks for the input, man! My kanthal arrives tomorrow, so I'm going to make some parallel builds for sure. This Hannibal lecter build has a .... ton of surface area too, so I wonder how it would compare. I need to get me some ribbon wire... lol

Like most elaborate coils, it's a lot of metal, which will affect ramp up time.
Get some thin kanthal and try parallels.

I've got a 200W mod, not too worried about ramp up time. lol

I've got dual, twisted, tiger wire coils in right now - and it fires almost instantly.... Each tigerwire is...... x4 32ga wires, a ribbon wire, and a 36ga wire, I believe.... and they're twisted.

0.17Ohms, and it shoots vape like a ..... :D

I just don't find the flavour is as good.... My Single coil Tigerwire on my twisted messes RDA produces better flavor - but it's a lot smaller of an RDA too. I might be getting more spit back, which is why it seems more flavourful.

I am absolutely going to take your advice though. Would you suggest x3 32ga kanthal parallels? Or should I maybe do something different?

32-28g is perfect IMHO.

And if you build it right you won't need anywhere near 200 watts to get a phenomenal vape, with rich flavor and weather changing clouds.
I giggle when I see all these superhigh wattage vapes.
It's like they are compensating for an inefficient build.

I'll add I'm Not a tootle puffer.

Dual parallels on the derringer with the airflow control removed.

I've heard great things about micro/nano coils for flavour. What ID are your coils? :D

OK! So I did a dual, triple 26ga parallel build. Nano style! This thing actually shoots vapor out of the exposed coil end. Best flavour to date on one of my builds.

Thanks for the advice!

The most amusing part to me with these crazy coils is how much wire surface is NOT touching the wick surface.

Sorry but driving mega watts into a foot of wire will cause any wick to put out like that.

Instead of 1/10th the surface area touching (hence the reason these coils have to be so big) try some ribbon. Inch per inch the ribbon will provide more surface touching the wick then all but the most elaborate coils using 1/4 the power.
28g equivalent ribbon is as wide as approx 3-4 strands of round 28. I use 4, 5 wraps and the coil is 4 to 6 mm wide. And only needs 20-30 watts.
