Awww....thanks everybody I appreciate it. I kinda don't like to draw attention to my monthlies (afraid I'm going to jinx it) as my eye on the prize is now totally focused on my 1 year. It seems like yesterday I was sitting at my kitchen table going through my starter kit wondering if this little contraption would work for me. I also remember being completely overwhelmed with information when I first started visiting the ECF.
My first encounter with a Cool Carto not fitting onto an Auto Battery due to a threading issue resulted in full blown Turrets, so I deeply share the frustration for when thing don't work perfectly. I came to this forum at a time of great transition when new members weren't exactly welcomed with open arms. It was more of a gang initiation where everybody jumped you to see if you were worthy to be a member. There were a lot of trolls causing trouble, a lot of very heated complaints, and it was a time where many of the original members were also starting to move on.
One of my first posts was about Bonus Cartos, although I listed 6 caveats as to how appreciative I was to receive bonus cartos. I simply mentioned that I had received bonus carts of Pumkin Pie and other discontinued flavor for 4 orders in a row. While others were receiving the newest flavors and it just seemed a little odd. Well, I was basically drawn and quartered amongst the old timers on the site, then my body parts were set on fire. There are a few who are still on here that probably remember that post....at least I know of one veteran for sure that remembers it.
Much has changed and now I find the forum to be a very warm, informative, and inviting place. Questions are answered immediately, new members are quickly embraced, V4L has taken great measures in keeping customers satisfied, trolls now avoid this forum, and the family is stronger than ever.
