Hi Ya'll,

I've been lurking for a couple of weeks now. Used to smoke regular cigs, then quit for a long time, then started back up again due to stress and being around smokers...well, and lack of will-power, though I was only smoking a couple in the evenings after work. A friends turned me on to a kit from 7-11 and I've only smoked a regular cigarette once or twice since then (when I didn't have the kit with me).

I noticed a lot of follks don't really care for the njoy NPRO, but it seems ok to me at this point, not really knowing any different. The problem I have with it is that the cartomizer thingies seem to run out of juice so quickly. Their instructions say 300 puffs. For me, that should last more than a few days. Anyway, I am hoping that, by removing the battery from the cartomizer while I am not smoking, and putting the caps back on, that maybe I was just having a leaking problem.

I've also watched some of the videos here about refilling and e-liquids, so I am seriously looking forward to trying the range of flavors, mebbe especially some cheesecake or blueberries. I'd like to find some empty cartomizer thingies for that, or figure out how to use a cartridge and atomizer with the e-cig I have. I know you have it here somewhere. I just have to find it! Yay! So, thank you all very, very much. This is a great place to learn and you seem to be a very nice bunch of folksies.

Hi and welcome to ECF. You won't ever get 300 hits off a cartomozer. Why? Because they lie about how much it'll give you, simple as that. When I use carto's I'll go through about 3 or 4 full ones in a day. As far as compatibility try looking here Brand and Model Compatibility Chart - E-Cigarette Wiki to see if you can find your model and what it is. It's a bit hard to figure out so maybe someone who knows what it is offhand will chime in with the info shortly.

Hi Ya'll,

I noticed a lot of follks don't really care for the NJOY NPRO, but it seems ok to me at this point, not really knowing any different. I'm just a lurker myself and haven't even bought mine yet, but I did read a review about the NJOY NPRO from Cozzcon.

YouTube - cozzcon's Channel

I can't remember exactly what he said good or bad but all of his video's are worth watching in my opinion. I got a lot of great info from them, as with most of the video's I've watched here. I believe it was either his first or second e-cig. It's all a blur at this point. But if you watch, he might give some info about that. Good luck, it sounds like you're doing great!

Thanks guys, cksent for the above and swedishfish for the vids. It looks like this is what I have according to the chart. It is a little confusing since I am horrible at technical bits, but every bit of info helps.

If it's an RN4081 I had one that was a different brand when I first started. The auto batteries kept giving me problems and I had to keep getting warranty replacements. The atomizers are really good though. Not too many places carry replacement parts here in the US anymore but you'll find a few if you look around.
If you're looking for replacement atomizers try here RN-4081 Atomizer. They also have some good juices in their High Caliber line.
For cartomizers, batteries and chargers try here RN4081 (Njoy NPRO or SmokingEverywhere Gold).
There's lots of good juice vendors. Here's links to a few good ones, although there's lots more VaporBomb.com, Nu-Juice Liquid Refill has some really good prices, Gourmet Vapor is having a sale on premixed juices, there's a coupon code thread somewhere here on ECF.

Wow. Thanks so much you guys. I didn't expect this many responses so quickly!! So happy right now. :D With this info you've provided, it looks like I can either use either cartomizers alone, or cartridges with atomizers, with my batteries. So many options! Exciting stuff.

That's one of the reasons this place is so wonderful! It's more chat room than forum. Although, not as maddening as a chat room, LOL. I lurked a long time before I joined, but once I did, I was hooked. :) Everybody here has helped me through the beginning to my next purchase being a mod.

It looks like you've got most of your information. I'll just say that your equipment will eventually die, and it's important to have a backup of everything. Batteries, cartomizers or atomizers and cartridges, and juice. Keep snooping around ECF, and you'll find your ultimate device to plan for.

Oh yeah, and welcome to ECF. Day 1 of 2011. What a great way to start a new year!

Well, in that case, I may start looking for something a little more feminine for the future, with a hint of sophistication. Give folks something to admire rather than abhor in public. Would pink be too much? :facepalm:I am going to have to check out what some of the ladies here are using, for sure. ^^

Pink, pink? I really am sorry that when I bought my eGo the place I got it from didn't have pink. Liberty Flights still has some pink Riva (off brand eGo) kits left for $29.99 Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510 (Riva 510 Lite) if it doesn't show up as $29.99 click on the 20% off icon at the top of the page.

Awesome Ya'll! I've placed some delicious-sounding (light nicotine) e-liquid orders and ordered a pack of empty cartomizers to try out. I am gonna save up for the Pink Riva, I think, depending on overtime. It looks very pretty. ^^ My friend at work is gonna want to try a few of your suggestions out too, since we started just a week or so apart. (She doesn't have internet.)
