happy 'accident' 901 flat/whistle tips....

so i had something happen that actually improved my vaping experience. i hadd heard that the end piece would come off the 901 flat/whistle tips and possibly create a choking hazard. well, the latter didnt happen but sometime between last night and today that end piece disappeared from my cart. so i decided to just vape without it and wow! what a difference it makes. i am getting even more flavor and more vaper and barely having to draw. i am not sure if anyone else tried this or if there is a hazard, but i love it. i think im gonna remove all of mine manually before i use them and then there will also be no worries of choking. seriously, i think it could be popped out with a paperclip or one of those screwdrives for glasses. let me know if there are any problems with this and if you have or will try it soon... let me know ur thoughts...

I would think with that piece being off ,it would be easier to swallow the liquid after refilling..I always leave it on to be safe

no juice in mouth, and trust me, im an expert on that subject. seriously. gonna do this all day and give an update tonight on how it works...

Maybe I overfilled mine but I remember mine coming off driving done the road and some juice was on my lips so I quit vaping on it till it was replaced...Just didn't want to chance it

eh, give it another shot. so far its working awesomly for me! the 901 was already a pretty good machine, now with this i am loving it. even using an auto battery. gonna try the manual to see how that goes. this is turning out to be a great vape day!

I always remove them. It does improve the draw of vapour a bit but the choking hazard was the reason I remove them. Removal doesn't seem to matter as far as liquid is concerned but on 901's I only drip and never really get juice in my mouth unless I'm lying down lol.

It's just one less buffer between the juice and your mouth. As long as you don't overfill or take a huge draw right as your battery/atty dies, all should be fine. I keep 'em in, myself.

Well, I just was excited and wanted to let everyone know. I am loving it so far!

When I first got my 901, the atomizer had a "protective cap" which was simply a brown cart with no filler and no "disc" in the tip. I wound up using that rather than the real carts because I liked the improved airflow...

Once I figured out I could pop the tips out, I've been doing it ever since. I definitely like it better, but I do get a mouthful more often with the tip off. (Remember, kids, spit don't swallow )

I always remove the end piece on my flat tips. I have had 3 fall off and enter my mouth but thankfully never choked. After 3 of them i decided to take no more chances. The are really easy to remove.

P.S. Last night I actually had the entire end of a 510 round cart fall off when i sat my e-cig down. That was a first.

I just trash them when they appear loose. I don't think it makes much of a difference. But it does suck when one jumps in your windpipe. It's easier to clean the carts without them too.
