When I was using cart's I'd get a couple of day out of each one. You can replace the polyfill and keep using the same ones until they get loose. If you're wanting to save a bit of $$ search the forum for cart mods such as blue foam, tea bag, or polyfill so you won't be buying cart's each month. The tea bags are just pyramid teabags that Lipton sells. You can get blue foam and polyfill at a pet supply store for a few $$ and you'll have a lifetime supply.
