This weekend is the real test for me. We will be spending the night on our boat for the first time since I started vaping. I have spent most of my time getting my equipment situated. Charging power packs, filling carts, gathering passthroughs and chargers and testing everything while my husband concentrates on less important things like getting the boat ready, food, fishing gear, bedding, etc. :)

lol, sounds like you're as ready as you could be. Good luck, and happy 4th! :)

The first time I went on an overnight, I packed my e-cig stuff like I was going to be gone for 2 weeks rather than 2 nights . . . backups for my backups, and backups for those. ;)

My husband expressed some surprise that I was bringing "all" of my stuff. I didn't have the guts to tell him that as much as I was bringing, it still only reflected a relatively modest fraction of my overall collection.

Enjoy your trip. :)

Bad news: We launched the boat last night and left it tied up at a marina so we wouldn't have to deal with the madness at the boat ramp today. When we arrived back at the marina today to head out for our overnight adventure, we found that our boat was sinking. The bilge pump wouldn't work and the water was about 1/4 of an inch below the transom. The cabin was filling up and had we arrived an hour later, she'd have gone down. We called Sea Tow (we subscribe to their service). They arrived quickly and pumped it out and we got it home safely. The problem turned out to be a leaking pump in the bait well. It only cost us $3,150.00. (Turns out Sea Tow doesn't cover sinking boats). Good news: We weren't off shore sleeping soundly when she started sinking, so I didn't lose my precious 510 and all my gear!

Oh No! I was imagining you out and vaping happily in the breeze of the Bay. I bet hubby was horifiied! Mine would have been livid!
I am however glad you and hubby are o.k. and the 510 made it!:thumb:
I weathered out a bad storm in a small cabin style boat with my parents and sister. I still have problems with motion sickness!

My hubby was upset, but kept his cool. The guy in the slip beside us came over and helped him out while I sat on the cooler watching with my eyes big as saucers, vaping my little heart out. 8-o I have only been seasick twice in my life and I've been on boats all my life. I guess I'm lucky. I don't think I'd want to push it and ride out a storm in one though.
