50 years ago today was the the very day our National Flag was raised on Parliment Hill by Royal Proclamation.
I make this comment and post as a VERY PROUD 5 year old Canadian (took my oath to Canada after being here for 16 years and wanted to become a citizen of this great country, oh and to vote/gripe about our politicians lol).
